Robinho rescinds Milan deal

Striker Robinho has rescinded his Milan contract, and is now free to join another club, almost certainly Santos.

The Brazilian is on loan to Santos, with the deal set to expire at the end of the Italian season, and the Rossoneri paying 40 per cent of his wages.

Modesto Junior Roma, President of the Brazilian side has been in Milan this week to try and finalise a permanent deal, and Globoesporte reveals that the 31-year-old’s contract has been cancelled.

Galliani: ‘Gabigol? We’ll see…’

Milan’s joint-CEO, Adriano Galliani, hints Gabigol could be part of any deal with Santos to transfer Robinho to the Brazilian side.

The latter is on loan with the club, but the Rossoneri are still playing 40 per cent of his wages, and the deal expires this summer.

With the forward expressing his desire to remain with Santos, it has been speculated that the Diavolo ask for young striker Gabriel Barbosa, or Gabigol, in exchange.

Santos in Milan for Robinho

Officials from Brazilian side Santos are in Milan to negotiate for Robinho, and could offer Gabigol in exchange.

Robinho is on loan with the Peixe, but the Rossoneri are still paying 40 per cent of the striker’s wages, and the current agreement ends in June.

Brazilian website Lancenet reports that club President Modesto Junior Roma will meet with the Diavolo’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliano to try and strike a deal.
