Eusebio Di Francesco relishes seeing Sassuolo on top of the Serie A table after they beat Bologna.

The 1-0 victory at the Stadio Dall’Ara maintained their 100 per cent record after two rounds, having also beaten Napoli last week.

“We are not thinking about where Juventus or Roma are, because we have other objectives,” assured the Coach on Sky Sport Italia.

Coppa: Sassuolo edge Pescara

An Antonio Floro Flores strike was enough as much-changed Sassuolo edged out Pescara 1-0 to reach the Last 16 of the Coppa Italia.

None of the Neroverdi side which defeated Verona 2-1 on Saturday lined up at Mapei Stadium tonight, with Domenico Berardi, Federico Peluso and Francesco Acerbi all rested.

A 57th minute strike from Floro Flores consigned Pescara to defeat, with the Delfini failing to cause an upset.

Sassuolo now go into the draw for the fifth round, where they will face a trip to San Siro to take on Milan.

Barreto off to Granada?

With Antonio Floro Flores’ stay in Spain coming to a premature end, speculation is that Granada will take another Udinese striker in his place.

Floro Flores is ending his season long loan spell with the struggling La Liga side six months early after angering club officials by reporting in as injured for a game, only to be pictured skiing the next day.

With the Italian set for a switch to Genoa in January, Granada are being linked with a replacement striker and Udinese may oblige.
