Ferrero attacks Lotito & Pallotta

Sampdoria owner Massimo Ferrero claims ‘Claudio is Lotito’s biggest enemy’ and asks ‘who knew James Pallotta before Roma?’

Ferrero took aim at his fellow Serie A Presidents in an interview with Corriere dello Sport on Friday, while branding himself ‘normal’, despite his eccentric character.

“Lotito is No 1, the best, with an intelligence and culture that’s above average, although not as much as mine,” the film producer told Corriere dello Sport.

Pallotta’s Barca warning to Kluivert

James Pallotta reportedly told Justin Kluivert that he would never sell the Roma new boy to Barcelona, promising him a Lamborghini if he scored 30 goals.

Kluivert recently admitted his dream was to play for Barca, following in the footsteps of father Patrick, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims Pallotta has put pay to that.

“I’ll give you a Lamborghini if you score 30 goals. Otherwise it’s a Mercedes if you score 10, okay?” the Roma President was quoted as saying to the Dutch starlet in New York.

Pallotta: ‘Couldn’t reject Alisson bid’

Roma President James Pallotta says accepting Liverpool’s €72.5m Alisson bid was “a no-brainer”.

The goalkeeper has moved to Merseyside for a world record transfer fee, but some Giallorossi fans were unhappy he was allowed to go.

“In Alisson’s case, come on, let’s be serious,” Pallotta said on SiriusXM FC.

“He’s great, I had a conversation the day he was leaving, I wished him great luck and a lot of shut-outs, except to give up five or six goals if we play them again.
