Sensi: 'Roma owners don't care'

Franco Sensi’s widow claims the current American owners “don’t give a damn about Roma and fans are fed up of it.”

The Sensi family ran the club for many years, Franco passing on the baton to daughter Rosella when he became ill, selling to a consortium run by James Pallotta in 2011.

On Sunday it’s the Derby della Capitale, but both Roma and Lazio fans are boycotting it because of barriers in the stands.

Roma plan Sabatini revolution

Roma are planning to wholly restructure the sporting director role as Walter Sabatini prepares to leave.

Spalletti: 'Enough about Totti'

Roma's Luciano Spalletti expects Inter to 'aim for third', but 'from now on' won't talk about Francesco Totti.

The two teams meet on Saturday evening at 19:45. The Giallorossi enjoy a solid lead of five points, but they can't afford to lose against the Nerazzurri if they want to defend their third place to the end.

“We have enough players to compensate for the suspensions,” Spalletti told the Press. “Inter played every game so far to win and are aiming for third place.

‘Roma stadium three years away’

President James Pallotta says Roma’s new stadium will take around three years to be completed.

The Giallorossi are aiming to build a new ground, but the project has been hit by delays as they seek approval from the administration of the Lazio region.

“American arenas and stadiums are much better than the football stadiums in Europe,” Pallotta told the Sports Analytics Conference at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Pallotta: ‘Rome stuck with me'

Roma President James Pallotta blasts ‘foolish reports’ he is to sell the club, saying ‘Rome is stuck with me’.

Reports had surfaced in Italy suggesting that the American could be looking to sell up, which he responded to through the club’s Twitter account.

“Another foolish report,” Pallotta wrote in response to an article on Goal Italia.

“I have no intention, nor ever have, discussed selling the team. Rome is stuck with me.”
