Inter loan Krhin to Cordoba

Inter have sent midfielder Rene Krhin to Cordoba until the end of the season, as confirmed by the Spanish club.

The 24-year-old was originally loaned to Bologna in 2010 and played four years with the Rossoblu before returning to Inter last summer.

However, on from failing to break into first team affairs at San Siro, the Slovenian has found a new temporary home in La Liga.

Marrone fails Cordoba medical

Luca Marrone’s loan move from Juventus to Cordoba appears to have fallen through, after the player reportedly fails a medical.

The midfielder travelled out to Spain to complete formalities on a six-month temporary switch, apparently choosing the chance to try La Liga over interest from a number of other sides.

However, he is reported this evening to be heading back to Turin having failed medical examinations with the Spaniards.

Marrone on verge of Cordoba move

Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone is on the verge of securing a loan move to Spanish side Cordoba.

The 24-year-old has been pictured arriving at Cordoba airport, with Diario Cordoba indicating that he will undergo a medical this afternoon before being presented tomorrow.

Marrone snubs Samp for Cordoba

Juventus defender Luca Marrone has reportedly rejected Sampdoria and will have a medical with Cordoba.

The centre-back had been on the verge of joining Samp on a six-month loan.

However, Tuttomercatoweb and Sky Sport Italia are both reporting that Marrone has agreed terms for a loan spell at Cordoba instead.

He is expected to undergo a medical tomorrow with the Spanish side.

This would be the 24-year-old’s first experience abroad after loans at Siena and Sassuolo.

Cordoba quits Inter job

Inter have terminated their contract with team manager Ivan Cordoba by mutual consent.

The reasons for the split are not clear, but former defender Cordoba had joined the club staff after his retirement in July 2012.

Inter released a brief statement saluting “an unforgettable player and a great man. We wish him all the best for the future.”

Cordoba confirm Matos capture

Primera Division side Cordoba have confirmed the capture of Fiorentina forward Ryder Matos for the 2014-15 season.

The Brazilian youngster managed 23 appearances in Serie A last season for La Viola and 36 across all competitions, managing a return of three goals scored exclusively in the Europa League.

Heading into the summer transfer market, the 21-year-old was increasingly linked with a loan move away and today newly-promoted La Liga side Cordoba have laid claim to him.
