Cremonese close stadium over COVID protocol

While the Lega Serie A are pushing to expand the number of fans allowed into stadiums, Cremonese close theirs after the 1,000 allowed entry didn’t follow COVID rules.

As of this month, Italian arenas are allowed to welcome in up to 1,000 people per game.

Clubs and the Lega Serie A are confident that figure will soon be bumped up to 25 per cent capacity, although the Government and CTS (technical scientific committee) are still pouring cold water over the idea.
