Mkhitaryan, Cuadrado to follow Sandro?

Alex Sandro’s Juventus medical is underway, while reports say the club will target Juan Cuadrado or Henrikh Mkhitaryan if their final Julian Draxler bid is rejected. 

It was announced yesterday that Porto left-back Alex Sandro had arrived in Turin ahead of a reported €20m move to the Italian champions.

The club announced on Twitter earlier today that the Brazilian had arrived at the Old Lady’s Clinica Fornaca to undergo his first tests, before he will later move to the Istituto di Medicino dello Sport.

Schalke soften Draxler stance

Juventus may be moving closer to a deal for Julian Draxler, as reports suggest Schalke are no longer demanding €30m up-front.

The Bundesliga side warned today that they will not wait until transfer deadline day to sell the attacking midfielder, prompting another Bianconeri bid.

Several reports suggest Juventus have made a new offer for Julian Draxler, after Schalke warned they won’t wait until deadline day.

The Bianconeri are chasing a trequartista, and have agreed personal terms with the German international, though their first offer to his club was turned down.

'Juve, hurry for Draxler!'

Schalke 04's Horst Heldt warns Juventus to hurry for Julian Draxler: 'At one point we'll no longer be willing to negotiate'.

The Bianconeri are believed to be pressing for the 21-year-old, but the sporting director denied there was a real offer.

“To be clear, we are not going to give away Draxler for cheap,” he said, in an interview with German newspaper Bild.

Juventus ready final Draxler bid

Juventus will reportedly submit their final offer to Schalke 04 for Julian Draxler this week, believed to be worth €27m.

Gazzetta dello Sport believes that the Old Lady will make a non-negotiable bid consisting of €18m up front and a further €9m of bonuses in the next two days.

However, the German side value the attacking midfielder at €30m and reportedly will accept nothing below this figure.

The paper also reports that a five-year deal worth €3.2m per season is ready for Draxler should an offer be accepted.

Juventus juggle Eriksen, Hernanes

Juventus are after Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen, but may be willing to turn towards Inter's Hernanes as an alternative.

The Bianconeri's interest in the Danish midfielder was hinted at yesterday, and reports today are corroborating the story.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, sporting director Beppe Marotta would be willing to offer Fernando Llorente plus a sum of money to cover the €18m requested by Spurs.

Heldt: ‘No new Draxler offer’

Schalke 04 sporting director Horst Heldt insists there has been ‘no new offer’ from Juventus for Julian Draxler.

The Bianconeri have agreed terms with the player for a move to Turin, but had their first offer turned down for the German international.

Reports in Italy had suggested that a new bid had also been rejected, but Heldt denied those suggestions in a Press conference.

“We received an offer for Draxler, which we rejected. That’s out in the open,” the director said ahead of the Bundesliga opener with Wolfsburg.

Schalke rival Leicester for Inler

Reports in Italy suggest Schalke 04 could beat Leicester City to the signature of Napoli’s Gokhan Inler.

It had been thought the Foxes had won the race for the Swiss international, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting this morning that they had struck a deal for €6m.

Schalke had previously been offering just €4m, but Sky is reporting this evening that the German side have raised their offer to €7m plus bonuses, topping Leicester’s offer.

Siqueira to sign today?

Atletico Madrid’s Guilherme Siqueira will reportedly sign for Juventus today, while chances of Julian Draxler’s arrival are diminishing.

Tuttosport have reported that Brazilian full-back Siqueira will sign a three-year deal worth €2m per season today.

The deal is reportedly agreed as a loan fee of €2m with the option to buy at the end of the season for a fixed price of €6m.

‘Huge offer needed for Draxler’

Schalke 04 general manager Horst Heldt doesn’t rule out selling Juventus target Julian Draxler, but it would take ‘a huge offer’.

The Bianconeri have agreed terms with the German international, but have been unable to agree a transfer fee with his club.

“Our plan is not to sell Julian,” Heldt told the Rheinischen Post.

“That said, in this business it’s difficult to make definitive statements.
