Parma investors saw 'irregularities'

Energy T.I. Group, who own 10 per cent of Parma, claim there were “serious irregularities” and confusion over debts.

The players today decided to wait a few more days before putting the club into administration, even though outstanding wages stretching back to July 2014 have still not been paid.

However, Energy T.I. Group are not prepared to wait and confirmed they are trying to get Parma put into administration.

Parma to be docked more points

Parma are heading for another points penalty after being deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for unpaid wages.

The club was already docked one point this season for failing to pay outstanding taxes and wages on time over the summer.

Today the FIGC announced Parma were being deferred to the Disciplinary Commission again for unpaid wages in July, August and September 2014.

Former President Tommaso Ghirardi and director general Pietro Leonardi, who stepped down today, were also deferred and face fines.

Parma debt at €96m?

Parma's debts, to be settled by the new ownership, are reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport to stand at €96m.

The Ducali have been sold twice in the last two months, with new President Giampietro Manenti following on from Tommaso Ghirardi and Rezart Taci's tenures and promising that every debt would be repaid.

‘We sold Parma for €1’

Pietro Doca, associate of former Parma owner Rezart Taci, reveals the club was sold for only €1, with debts still remaining as ‘the problem’.

The Ducali were sold last week to - as confirmed today - Giampietro Manenti, amid continued financial struggles which have left staff and players unpaid since last summer.

Doca, who was nominated by Taci as President of the Dastraso Holding, said the club earned them practically no revenue from the sale.

Manenti new Parma owner

Parma have announced that Giampietro Manenti is their new owner and President, replacing the outgoing Rezart Taci and Ermir Kodra.

Taci led a consortium to buy out the Ducali in December, but amid the continuing financial crisis at the club, sold out to an unnamed investment group.

Parma unveil owners tomorrow

Parma deny talks to sell the club to Proto Organization Enterprises, as administrator Fiorenzo Alborghetti assured the new owners “have money.”

The club is in chaos, as Tommaso Ghirardi sold to Rezart Taci’s Albanian-Russian-Cypriot group in December, only for them to sell again this week to unknown investors.

There were reports the new owners were Proto Organization Enterprises, but this evening Parma released a statement formally denying that was the case.

‘Too many mysteries at Parma’

Former sporting director Giambattista Pastorello says there are ‘too many mysteries’ around the repeated sales of Parma.

The Ducali have been sold for the second time in less than two months, with Fiorenzo Alborghetti acting as representative for an as yet unidentified new ownership.

Pastorello, who helped administrate Parma during their heyday in the 1990s, is perplexed by the situation.

‘Parma sale decision confusing’

Former Parma President Fabio Giordano questions Rezart Taci’s decision to sell, and intends to distance himself 'as soon as possible' from the club.

The Ducali were purchased by a consortium led by Taci in December, but the club confirmed today that the Albanian businessman has sold them to an Italian consortium currently represented by Fiorenzo Alborghetti.

Official: Parma confirm sale

Parma have released a brief statement confirming that Rezart Taci has agreed to sell the club after only two months at the helm.

The Albanian and his consortium were rumoured today to have agreed to transfer their ownership of the struggling Ducali to an unnamed group of investors, increasingly suggested to be Italian.

Now the club have released a short statement confirming the process.

Ghirardi: ‘Parma should thank me’

Former Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi insists Ducali fans should thank him, and hints at dark forces in football.

Ghirardi sold the club last month to a group of Russian and Cypriot investors, with the club recording huge losses and banned from Europe for failing to pay tax, as well as receiving a point deduction.
