Official: Parma sold to Dastraso

Parma have finally completed the sale to Russian-Cypriot Dastraso Holding Ltd with Fabio Giordano as temporary President.

“The paperwork has all been signed and a deal reached. For three months I will be the President in a technical capacity,” said Giordano in a Press conference.

Dastraso Holding Limited are believed to be made up of Russian and Cypriot investors involved in the oil business, but there is still very little known about them.

Parma conference delayed

Parma look as if they have finally completed the sale to new investors, but a Press conference is postponed.

The last few days have seen absolute chaos around the club, as previous patron Tommaso Ghirardi insisted the deal had been finalised, but new President Pietro Doca denied that was the case.

Today a Press conference was called to explain the situation, but has now been put back from 17.00 GMT to 18.45 GMT.

Parma seek new President

Parma’s new owners are reportedly looking for a new President after Pietro Doca again denied he signed the paperwork.

There is chaos and confusion at the Stadio Tardini, a club that has already been docked one point for financial irregularities after failing to pay outstanding wages and taxes.

President Tommaso Ghirardi announced he had sold the club to a group of investors led by Doca, but the supposed new President has continually denied the deal is complete.

Doca won’t meet media

Parma’s ownership saga rumbles on, as prospective new President Pietro Doca says he won’t attend a Press conference scheduled for tomorrow.

The Ducali appeared to confirm that Doca had taken over the club on Tuesday, posting a statement on the club’s website stating that the deal had been done and the new owner would attend a Press conference at Tardini on Friday.

Ghirardi confirms Parma sale

The situation with Parma’s ownership remains unclear, as Tommaso Ghirardi insists the sale of the Ducali has been completed.

A statement on the club’s website yesterday announced that Pietro Doca would be the club’s new President, however the prospective new owner then cast doubt on that, saying that no deal had been completed.

Now outgoing patron Tommaso Ghirardi has released a statement on the club’s official website stating that he has indeed completed a deal to sell the Tardini side.

Doca casts doubt on Parma deal

Pietro Doca has cast doubt on the takeover of Parma, denying that any deal has been completed for the Ducali.

Parma’s official website yesterday announced that Doca would take over the presidency of the club, with current chief Tommaso Ghirardi having sold up.

However, in an interview with Piacenza24, the would-be President denied that the deal had been completed.

Parma sale announced today

Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi's sale of Parma to a Russian-Cypriot conglomerate is to be formally announced today.

The businessman's sale of the Italian club had already been announced last week and the completion of the deal is now imminent.

According to La Gazzetta di Parma, Ghirardi met with the new buyers yesterday evening to iron out the last details and is moments from signing the new deal.

Official: Parma agree sale

Parma have officially agreed terms to sell the club to a Russian-Cypriot conglomerate.

The deal was announced on the club website by President Tommaso Ghirardi.

“Parma FC announce that today an agreement was reached to sell the majority shares of controlling party Eventi Sportivi S.p.A, which will be handed over to the new buyers in front of lawyer Giovanni Posio of Brescia on Tuesday December 16 2014.

Parma buyers ‘announced today’

Current Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi confirms details of the club's sale could be revealed within 24 hours.

The Ducali confirmed at the weekend that the President and owner had agreed to transfer the club over to a Russian-Cypriot investment group.

Whilst the investors have so far remained anonymous, their is reported as set to be completed this week and now Ghirardi has hinted that they will soon be unveiled.
