Capello: 'I could run for FIFA'

Fabio Capello claims he has “already turned down 10 offers” and is open to running for FIFA Presidency.

The former Juventus, Roma, England and Russia manager is a free agent and has been repeatedly linked to benches including a return to the Giallorossi.

“It has to be a project that stimulates me. I’ve already turned down at least 10 offers,” Capello told Radio Deejay.

Capello free for Roma or Chelsea?

Fabio Capello has reportedly terminated his contract with Russia, so is free for Roma or Chelsea.

The Coach had been set to take Russia to Euro 2016, but walked away by mutual consent over the summer.

According to several sources, including calciomercato.com and Itasportpress, Capello today finalised the details of the separation so has no pending business with the Russian Federation.

That means he is a free agent and can negotiate to take on any other job at international or club level.

Garcia: Four matches to save job?

Widespread reports suggest Roma Coach Rudi Garcia has until the winter break to save his job after their Barcelona humiliation.

The Giallorossi were humbled 6-1 at Camp Nou on Tuesday evening in the Champions League, continuing a terrible European record under the Frenchman of two wins in 11 matches.

Il Messaggero has reported today that Roma will give Garcia four matches to save his job: the contests with Atalanta, Torino, BATE Borisov and Napoli.

'Juve better odds than Milan'

Fabio Capello says he has 'greater belief' in Juventus for a Scudetto comeback than in their next rivals Milan.

The veteran Serie A and international Coach held the reins of both clubs, and will be among those watching intently their clash tomorrow night at 19:45.

“It has the appeal of a comeback, and that's a lot to say,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Juve have to find themselves, taking back the characteristics they have always possessed: hunger and determination.

Capello: 'Inter unlike my Milan'

Fabio Capello believes Inter are not comparable to his version of Milan: 'We used to have game'.

The Serie A veteran coached the Rossoneri between 1991 and 1996, and it was suggested to him that the current, first-placed Nerazzurri have something in common with his squad of 1993-94.

“In those years, we used to have game,” he responded to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “That year my Milan team came from three consecutive seasons in which it played the Champions League.

Capello for New York City FC job?

Fabio Capello is reportedly in talks with New York City FC, where he’d work with Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard.

The Coach is currently out of work after he split with the Russian national team by mutual consent in July.

According to The Sun and Goal.com, Capello is currently having negotiations with MLS club New York City FC.

They failed to qualify for the play-offs and he is tipped to take over from Jason Kreis.

‘Juventus can recover’

Juventus ‘have the capacity to recover’ according to Fabio Capello, who discusses the Serie A title contenders.

The former Roma, Juventus and Milan Coach spoke to Tele Radio Stereo 92.7 about the season ahead, but lamented the ongoing problems with low attendances.

"Watch out for Juventus, who can recover and have the capacity to do it,” said Capello.

“There are many direct clashes. We knew that Roma are equipped to win the league and they’re showing all their quality.

The former Giallorossi boss was speaking to Tele Radio Stereo 92.7 about the battle for the title and believes that the capital club are the frontrunners.

The 69-year-old also discussed Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli and the ongoing struggles of Juventus, but he believes the Bianconeri will bounce back.

Del Piero: 'Ready to be a Coach'

Alessandro Del Piero feels “ready to become a Coach. I learned from Marcello Lippi, Fabio Capello and Carlo Ancelotti.”

The former Juventus legend hung up his boots after experiences in Australia and India, then spent time this summer as a pundit on Sky Sport Italia.

“I will admit, I do now feel ready to become a Coach,” he told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
