Zambrotta: Gattuso like Capello

Former Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta says he is expecting Gennaro Gattuso to emulate Fabio Capello as a Coach.

Zambrotta played alongside Gattuso for Milan and Italy, winning a Scudetto and the World Cup with the ex-midfielder, and he compared the Rossoneri’s new man at the helm to Capello, whom he is assisting at Jiangsu Suning in China.

“If you look at his preparation and attachment to these colours, it’s barely a surprise,” the 40-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.

‘Schick was misinterpreted’

The striker gave an interview in his native Czech Republic in which he said he hoped to play for an “even bigger” club than the Giallorossi one day.

Given that he’s barely featured since signing from Sampdoria as he battles injury problems, the interview didn’t go down well in Italy.
