Chelsea rejected for Alex Sandro

It’s reported Juventus have rejected a €60m bid from Chelsea for Alex Sandro, as they won’t sell unless he asks to leave.

The Blues are known to keen on the Brazilian full-back, but it’s not yet clear if he actually wants to leave Turin.

According to this morning’s Tuttosport, the English side tested the waters with a €60m bid, which was immediately rejected by the Bianconeri.

Unless Alex Sandro asks to go, Juve will reject any offer for him, and even if he does want to leave his price would start at €70m.

Juve's Danilo gamble

Can ‘one of Real Madrid’s worst signings in years’ come good at Juventus? Tom Scholes isn’t so sure.

No one said replacing Dani Alves was going to be an easy task, in fact some would argue that it’s one of the toughest things to do in the game. Barcelona let him go on a free transfer a few seasons ago and never found anyone who could adequately replace him, and that’s a club who likes to think that they can replace almost anybody if they wanted to.

There aren’t many right-backs who can do the job that Juventus want, as well as being available at a price that doesn’t break the bank.

Danilo to decide this week

As Chelsea raise their Alex Sandro offer to €68m, Real Madrid full-back Danilo’s agent flies in for talks with Juventus and the Premier League champions.

The Daily Telegraph claims that Antonio Conte’s side are prepared to pay a club record £60m fee (circa €68m) to sign the left-back.

These two teams are also butting heads on the transfer market over Real Madrid right-back Danilo, a good friend of Alex Sandro and his former Porto teammate.

Chelsea hold Alex Sandro talks

Reports in Britain claim Chelsea will hold new talks with Juventus over Alex Sandro today.

The Brazilian full-back has been heavily linked with the Blues, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, and would cost around €65m.

The Bianconeri don’t want to sell Alex Sandro, and are offering him a new contract to stay in Turin, and the Daily Telegraph says this could be a decisive day for his future.

According to the newspaper, further talks between the two clubs are scheduled for today.

Spinazzola agent: 'Sell Alex Sandro!'

Leonardo Spinazzola’s agent urges Juventus to sell Alex Sandro, as the left-back on loan at Atalanta “is just as strong.”

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are in a bidding war for the Brazilian, reaching over €60m.

“The dream move would be if Juventus sold Alex Sandro,” agent Davide Lippi told the Corriere dello Sport.

“They paid €28m and if Chelsea really do offer €70m, then the directors would make a massive profit.

Report: PSG €65m for Alex Sandro

Paris Saint-Germain are offering €65m for Alex Sandro, report La Repubblica, but the Juventus left-back would only leave for Chelsea.

The Brazilian was signed from Porto in 2015 for €26m, but his price-tag has since sky-rocketed thanks to performances in Serie A, the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

According to La Repubblica, PSG are prepared to pay €65m for Alex Sandro – significantly more than the €60m last proposed by Chelsea.

Juve offer new Alex Sandro deal

Juventus are prepared to offer Alex Sandro €5m per year until 2022 if he snubs Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to sign a new contract.

According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, the Bianconeri aren’t prepared to sell the Brazilian left-back, even if the bids reach €70m.

Instead, they are laying out a plan to keep Alex Sandro in Turin for the long-term.

This is partly with a cash sum, specifically a salary hike to €5m per year until 2022.

Juve agree Danilo terms?

Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with right-back Danilo, but Real Madrid want €30m for the Brazilian.

The Bianconeri have set their sights firmly on the man who turns 26 next month, who has one goal in 16 senior caps for the Seleçao.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Danilo has already agreed to a five-year contract worth €5m per season.

The only sticking point now is the transfer fee, as Real Madrid want to make back as much of the €31.5m spent to sign him from FC Porto in 2015 as they possibly can.

PSG join Alex Sandro hunt

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro could leave for €70m, but Chelsea face competition from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Last week Bianconeri director Beppe Marotta confirmed they had turned down a “substantial offer” for the Brazilian, but that the club would not keep anyone against their will.

It was effectively an invitation to open a bidding war, as Chelsea may well find that €70m is no longer enough.
