PSG to ‘strongly’ pursue Alex Sandro

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly ‘strongly, strongly’ pursue the signing of Juventus’ Alex Sandro in the summer.

The French club have been heavily linked with the left-back in recent weeks, along with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.

And according to Claudia Garcia, a respected journalist in Sandro’s homeland of Brazil, the 27-year-old could soon be on his way out of Turin.

“If PSG still don’t have clear ideas on their Coach, they do on players,” Garcia told Rai Sport.

Juve: Cuadrado back, Mandzukic out

Juan Cuadrado is back in the Juventus squad to face Milan, but Mario Mandzukic is out with a thigh injury.

The Bianconeri take on Gennaro Gattuso’s side in Turin tomorrow, as they look to maintain their two-point lead at the top of Serie A.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is able to welcome back Cuadrado after his groin surgery, though the Colombian is unlikely to feature as he only returned to training this week.

Cuadrado back in Juventus training

Juan Cuadrado returned to Juventus training today, though the winger is still working away from the rest of the team.

The Colombian international had surgery on a groin injury, so he hasn’t featured for the Bianconeri since December 23.

Today the club has confirmed that Cuadrado has returned to Vinovo to continue his recovery, though he’s still following a personalised programme, rather than working with his teammates.

The left-back was forced to pull out of the Brazil squad with a thigh injury, and he had scans in Turin yesterday.

The Bianconeri confirmed the injury, but didn’t offer a timescale for his recovery, with fears he’d miss the Milan and Real Madrid games.

Alex Sandro to have scans

Alex Sandro will have scans today, as the Juventus full-back was forced out of the Brazil squad.

The left-back picked up a thigh injury in training with the Selecao, so he’s been sent back to Turin rather than being involved in this month’s friendlies.

With games against Milan and Real Madrid on the horizon, the Bianconeri are sweating on the fitness of one of their star men, and he’ll have scans this morning, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

Alex Sandro injured on Brazil duty

Juventus full-back Alex Sandro was forced to pull out of Brazil training with a thigh injury, which will be assessed later today.

The Bianconeri are already sweating on the fitness of Giorgio Chiellini, who was forced off in the draw with Spal on Saturday night.

With Milan to come after the international break, then Real Madrid in the Champions League, Max Allegri cannot afford to be without any of his star men.

Unfortunately for the Juve Coach though, Globoesporte is reporting that Alex Sandro withdrew from training today with a thigh injury.

Alisson, Costa in Brazil squad

Alisson, Joao Miranda and Douglas Costa have both been included in the latest Brazil squad, but Juventus full-back Alex Sandro is left out.

Today Tite has named his squad for the game, with Roma goalkeeper Alisson included alongside former Bianconeri ‘keeper Neto.

Douglas Costa has also been called-up, but his Juve teammate Alex Sandro has once again been left out.
