Reja rues 'naive error' in stoppages

Edy Reja admits Lazio “paid a heavy price for a naive error,” as a draw slipped from their grasp at the 94th minute.

Luis Cavanda was picked to mark Milos Krasic, but the Serb got to the by-line for the winning Juventus goal.

“Cavanda is young and he didn't realise you mustn't give Krasic space to cut inside,” said Reja of their 2-1 defeat.

Look out for Lazio

Lazio are surprising everyone and Dave Taylor believes that Edy Reja's team has the necessary spirit to win the title

At the start of November everyone was waiting for Lazio's bubble to burst, but being second with 30 points after beating Inter, it is still very much intact.

Although for a club outside the so-called top four a title win is doubtful, it is not impossible. With Inter stuttering, Juve inconsistent, Napoli could surprise, but in reality only Milan are serious competition for top spot at the moment.

Almeida open to Lazio move

Werder Bremen striker Hugo Almeida is open to a move to Lazio, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Portugal international has been repeatedly linked with a move to Rome in light of Lazio's need to bolster their options up front ahead of the business end of the season.

Almeida has expressed his desire not to renew his contract with Werder, which expires in the summer.

Therefore, the January transfer window is Werder's last opportunity to cash in on the 26-year-old.
