Besiktas talks for Durmisi

Riza Durmisi’s Lazio career could be short-lived, as he is reportedly in talks for a transfer to Besiktas.

The 25-year-old Denmark international was a purchase for €7m from Real Betis last summer, but managed only 19 competitive appearances.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Besiktas are in negotiations to take him away from the Stadio Olimpico, but the two clubs are haggling over the price.

Lukaku: 'I already speak Italian'

The Belgium international is in advanced negotiations for a move to Juve, after Inter had approached him earlier in the summer.

An interview with Sky Sport Italia revealed the Manchester United striker speaks seven languages, including Italian.

“My brother plays in Italy and I watched Sky Italia to see his games, so I picked up some Italian,” Lukaku told Sky Sport Italia.

Milan demand Biglia transfer fee

Milan have asked Genoa for at least €5-6m in order to sell Lucas Biglia, it’s reported, which could scupper the deal.

Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli has pin-pointed Biglia as the ideal replacement for Miguel Veloso in the middle of the park.

He could be released by Milan, largely because of his €3.5m per year salary, so there were suggestions he could terminate the contract by mutual consent.

However, Sky Sport Italia and Il Secolo XIX newspaper claim the Rossoneri would make a loss unless they picked up at least €5-6m transfer fee.

Arguably, very few sides have been closer to deserving a place in the Champions League over the past few seasons than Lazio. In the 2017-18 season, the club missed out on fourth spot after a devastating loss to Inter on the final day of the season, whilst the last campaign ended in a bittersweet manner, finishing eighth in Serie A whilst lifting the Coppa Italia trophy.
