Wallace to make Brazil return?

Lazio defender Wallace is reportedly on his way back to Brazil with Flamengo

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Flamengo are negotiating a loan deal for Wallace with an option to buy.

The 24-year-old joined Lazio in the summer of 2016 from Cruzeiro after two seasons at Monaco.

He made 66 appearances for the Aquile without establishing himself as a first-team regular, although he did win a Supercoppa and Coppa Italia.

The centre-back has also represented Brazil at Under-20 level, as well as picking up a cap for their U23 team.

Lazio talks for Argentine Gaich

Lazio are closing in on Argentina U20 striker Adolfo Gaich, whose agent flew in for meetings, but are unwilling to pay his €15m release clause.

According to the website Lazionews.eu, the San Lorenzo striker’s agent is in the capital and could meet with representatives of the Biancocelesti.

Le Aquile sporting director Igli Tare is said to be an admirer of the forward, but the €15m asking price could prove to be a stumbling block to any potential deal.

Lazio offered Mattia Destro?

Bologna striker Mattia Destro has reportedly been offered to Lazio.

According to Radiosei, Bologna deem Destro surplus to requirements and he would have been the subject of a recent proposal sent to Lazio.

The 28-year-old is out of contract next summer and started just five times in Serie A last season, although he scored four goals in his last six appearances.

However, he is unlikely to be of interest to the Aquile, despite them being in the market for attackers.
