Serie A probable line-ups

Check out the probable line-ups for all of tonight’s seven Serie A games, including Inter-Lazio and Roma-Atalanta.

Inter look to make it five straight wins so they can claim back top spot from Juventus, and Antonio Conte could start Stefano Sensi and Matteo Politano behind lone striker Romelu Lukaku in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

They face a Lazio side boosted by the return of Manuel Lazzari on the right and with their two talismen available in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ciro Immobile.

Conte slams 'hateful' Press

Antonio Conte has taken aim at the Italian Press for stirring “hatred and dissatisfaction” ahead of Inter’s Serie A clash with Lazio tomorrow.

Inter face arch-rivals Juventus in the Derby d’Italia on October 6, and there have already been articles suggesting the Coach will be in for a hostile reception against his former club.

“Lazio are a challenging obstacle, one of the most difficult of this season,” he said at a Press conference.

Three is the magic number

We’re only four rounds in and already the Scudetto is a three-horse race, as Football Italia Chief Correspondent Richard Hall rounds up the weekend action.

All eyes were on the Derby Della Madonnina this weekend, as Inter faced what was to be their first real test and passed it with flying colours.

San Siro would once again supply the choreography, the noise and the entertainment, as the two Milan clubs battled it out, with two new Coaches and two new projects. The result would send a message to the others contesting this year’s Scudetto and indicate that there would be no room for error. Juventus and Napoli would respond with gusto and the race is now certainly on.

Immobile sorry for Parma anger

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has apologised for his angry reaction to being substituted against Parma on Sunday.

Immobile scored during Lazio’s 2-0 victory over Parma but was then furious at his substitution, ranting and waving his arms all the way round the pitch on his way back to the bench.

Although Simone Inzaghi quickly played down the incident, the 29-year-old still felt the need to say sorry.
