Sarri: 'My Dybala opinion doesn't count'

Maurizio Sarri hit out at Juventus for the “embarrassing situation” with players who need to be sold, while declaring his “opinion on Paulo Dybala counts for zero.”

Cuadrado: 'Juve quicker with Sarri'

Juan Cuadrado admits Juventus “must play more with the ball and move it around much quicker” under Maurizio Sarri after defeat to Atletico Madrid.

The Bianconeri had 27 attempts, although only six were on target, and dominated possession, but were still beaten 2-1 in the International Champions Cup game.

“I am happy with what we did today, as it’s intense work and we are getting better every day,” Cuadrado told Sportitalia.

Joao Felix breaks Juventus

Juventus had 27 attempts on goal in the final International Champions Cup game, but still lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid thanks to Joao Felix magic.

Diego Simeone’s men retained their unbeaten status in the pre-season tournament as they took on Juve in Stockholm. The Bianconeri scored in every match of the ICC 2019, but didn't win any in 90 minutes.

Giorgio Chiellini started after recovering from injury and almost scored after 11 minutes, forcing a sensational one-handed reaction save out of Jan Oblak from point-blank range on a corner.

De Vrij: 'Inter quality against Spurs'

Stefan de Vrij saw Inter “put a lot of quality into the game and are certainly improving” after their International Champions Cup game with Tottenham.

The Nerazzurri earned a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Stefano Sensi cancelling out the Lucas Moura opener, going on to win on penalties.

“We are satisfied with what we achieved, despite conceding a goal right at the start,” De Vrij told Sportitalia.

Inter beat Tottenham on penalties

Stefano Sensi’s strike cancelled out a very early Lucas Moura attempt, as Inter beat Tottenham Hotspur on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Antonio Conte completed the International Champions Cup campaign in London, but was still missing Lautaro Martinez, Valentino Lazaro and Diego Godin, while Radja Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi are frozen out.

It took all of three minutes for Spurs to break the deadlock, as Erik Lamela surged forward, the defence backed off and he rolled across for Lucas Moura to blast into the roof of the net from just inside the penalty area.

Inter start Stefano Sensi, Ivan Perisic and Sebastiano Esposito in their final International Champions Cup game with Tottenham Hotspur.

Antonio Conte is still missing Lautaro Martinez, Manuel Lazzaro and Diego Godin, while Matteo Politano is only fit for the bench after a muscular problem.

Radja Nainggolan has been loaned to Cagliari and Mauro Icardi is frozen out, so Perisic again has to start as a makeshift striker with 17-year-old youth team player Sebastiano Esposito.

Milan: 'World-class' Suso not enough

Marco Giampaolo urged Milan to keep ‘world-class’ Suso, but his performance was not enough to prevent a penalties defeat to Manchester United.

Suso’s slick curler from outside the box was the pick of the goals in Cardiff as the International Champions Cup finale finished 2-2, but United went on to win 5-4 on penalties after Daniel Maldini missed the decisive spot-kick.

“We still lack attention to detail, but we’ll only acquire it with time,” Giampaolo said after the game.
