Leonardo: 'Udinese our toughest test'

Leonardo believes Sunday's clash with on-form Udinese represents “the toughest test” of his Inter yet.

The Coach has won all five games under his tenure between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, but the Friulani held leaders Milan to a 4-4 draw at San Siro and won 4-2 in Genoa.

“We will be facing players in great shape, who are getting excellent results and we must be very careful,” noted Leo.

“Alexis Sanchez and Antonio Di Natale form a very interesting partnership that is extremely difficult to defend against.

Inter boss Leonardo claims he'll faint if his side ever perform again like they did against Cesena at San Siro last night.

The Italian champions went 2-0 up and looked comfortable, but threw away their advantage, allowing the visitors to equalise before half-time.

Cristian Chivu then nodded Inter back into the lead and a precious victory was sealed, lifting the Nerazzurri into fourth place in Serie A.

Here come the champions

It has taken a few months and a change of boss for Inter to get going, but Giancarlo Rinaldi insists the Italian champions are back in the race.

When a father first plays computer games with his son, he may let the boy build up a bit of a lead in order to make things more interesting. This paternal handicap system allows the action to be a little more fun for everyone involved. Lately, it looks as if Inter might have been indulging in their own version of such antics.
