Gattuso: 'Milan mistakes were costly'

Gennaro Gattuso shrugged off questions about the referee, insisting Milan had “the best performance of 2019 and lost not because Juventus did well, but because of our mistakes.”

The Rossoneri had the better of the first half and took the lead through Krzysztof Piatek, but a Paulo Dybala penalty and Moise Kean strike turned it around for 2-1.

Milan fly out for Everton?

Milan sporting director Leonardo has reportedly flown to Brazil for talks with Gremio over a deal for winger Everton Soares.

According to Fox Sports Brasil, Leonardo will use the trip to drive down Gremio’s asking price of €80m – which is Everton’s release clause.

Leonardo: 'Clear Milan penalty'

Milan director Leonardo insists they deserved a last-gasp penalty against Sampdoria, but there is “no need to put anyone on trial.”

Milan Derby due for Conte

Antonio Conte could be heading back to Italy and a Derby della Madonnina, as both Inter and Milan are reportedly vying for his signature.

The Coach will soon become a free agent, as he is taking legal action against Chelsea to recoup the full severance package following his dismissal.

A move back to Serie A seems very likely and there are several options for him, but according to newspaper Libero, both are at San Siro.

Inter are well known to be interested, especially since former Juventus director general Beppe Marotta took over as sporting CEO.

Galliani: 'Milan now with Milanisti'

Former Milan CEO Adriano Galliani maintains the club has “come back into the hands of Milanisti,” which was not the case under Yonghong Li.

When he defaulted on a loan used to buy the club, it was essentially repossessed by US hedge fund Elliott Management.
