Report: Balotelli signed for Brescia

Mario Balotelli signed the contract with Brescia last night, claim reports, but Massimo Cellino won’t announce it due to superstition.

La Gazzetta dello Sport maintain the paperwork was already signed at 23.45 local time on Friday evening.

It was done that late to ensure it did not include the date August 17, which is also why the news won’t be announced today.

Flamengo accept Balotelli failure

Flamengo have conceded defeat in their attempts to sign Mario Balotelli, who is now all set for Brescia.

There had been multiple reports today that he made the decision to join Brescia, who are newly-promoted to Serie A for the first time since 2011.

SuperMario was raised in Brescia and his adoptive family still lives there, so it would make sense for him to play at the Stadio Rigamonti.
