Report: Milan bid €30m for Everton

Milan have reportedly seen a bid of just under €30m for Gremio and Brazil winger Everton Soares rejected.

Milan have gone back in for Everton after being priced out of a move for Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa.

According to Globo Esporte, Milan made the offer on Friday via email, but it was returned to sender as Gremio want more money.

Milan back in for Everton?

Milan have reportedly reopened talks for Gremio and Brazil winger Everton Soares.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Angel Correa remains Milan’s top target, but they have yet to meet Atletico Madrid’s valuation, which is in excess of €50m.

Consequently, Di Marzio claims that while the Rossoneri remain hopeful a deal can be agreed for Correa, they have momentarily checked back in for Everton.

According to Calciomercato.it, the representative is hoping to work out a deal for his move to Serie A.

Atalanta have reportedly opened talks with Gremio over a possible deal for striker Luan.

According to Globo Esporte, Atalanta are ready to add Luan to their attacking arsenal and the situation could develop quickly.

Everton Soares to Napoli denied

Gremio have denied reports that Napoli made an offer for in-demand Brazil winger Everton Soares.

Napoli were said to be in talks for Everton, with Calciomercato.it claiming they had already tabled a €30m bid for the ex-Milan target.

However, Gremio President Romildo Bolzan told Tuttosport: “There’s no offer from Napoli for Everton.

“To buy him, someone needs to satisfy both Gremio and the player. That hasn’t happened until now.”

Napoli start talks for Everton

Napoli have started negotiations with Gremio for Brazil sensation Everton, claim Calciomercato.it, but offered €30m and the asking price is €50m.

The Partenopei have been seeking a reinforcement in attack all summer, but talks for James Rodriguez, Mauro Icardi, Nicolas Pepe and Hirving Lozano never really progressed.

Everton: Milan one of the best

Gremio and Brazil winger Everton Soares has kept the door open to Milan, describing them as ‘a great club, one of the best in Europe.’ 

Milan seemed to have moved on from Everton with the exit of Leonardo, but the 23-year-old starred at Copa America, scoring three goals and providing two assists en route to their triumph.

“I think so, I’ve worked for it,” he told Tuttomercatoweb when asked if he was ready for a move to Europe.

Milan deny Everton interest

Although A Bola claims Brazil star Everton is pushing for a Milan move, Italian sources close to the club insist the Gremio winger is no longer a target.

The report appeared in Portuguese paper A Bola today, suggesting Everton had agreed personal terms and the Rossoneri needed to pay the €40m asking price.

However, Italian media including MilanNews.it and La Gazzetta dello Sport contacted Milan, only to be told Everton is not in their plans.

Portuguese paper A Bola claim Brazil and Gremio winger Everton wants to join Milan, but will cost around €40m.

The 23-year-old attacking winger plays primarily on the left, but can also work on the right or as a support striker.

He was top scorer for Brazil in the Copa America, finding the net in the 3-1 Final victory over Peru last night too.
