Potential Pjanic exchange with Jorginho

Juventus could propose a straight swap with Chelsea this summer, handing over Miralem Pjanic in exchange for Maurizio Sarri’s protégé Jorginho.

Ever since Sarri dropped Pjanic for the Scudetto showdown with Inter, a 2-0 victory that was one of their best performances of the season, multiple reports have emerged linking the Bosnian with an exit.

According to Calciomercato.it, there could be a solution to suit all parties.

Del Piero: 'Perfect Dybala position'

Alessandro Del Piero warns Maurizio Sarri needs more time to make Juventus his own and believes Paulo Dybala is “perfect uniting midfield and attack.”

The Bianconeri are still top of the table, albeit only one point ahead of Lazio, when Serie A was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“Sarri created such beautiful ideas of football at Empoli and Napoli, but those took time to achieve, with daily training sessions and constant communication,” Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia.

Sarri: 'More like my Juventus'

Maurizio Sarri explained his tactical choices as Juventus beat Inter 2-0, with Paulo Dybala a “devastating” substitute. “This was far more what I wanted to see from my Juventus.”

Silence is golden for Juventus

Playing behind closed doors can neutralise home advantage, but it was Inter who folded at the empty Juventus Stadium, writes Giancarlo Rinaldi.

It felt, in the end, like eating a plate of pasta without the sauce. After the usual bungling of the Italian football authorities, the Serie A season - and its showpiece Derby d’Italia - could go ahead, but behind closed doors. Desperate times call for desperate and drastic measures, we can all agree, but from a pure spectacle point of view we were denied an appetising element of one of Calcio’s key encounters.

Juventus just not built for Sarri

Juventus hired a coach like Maurizio Sarri only to provide him none of the players he needed for his football, explains Kaustubh Pandey, so why would Pep Guardiola be any different?

The Maurizio Sarri era was always meant to have a transition period. For a club that has been into playing a more pragmatic brand of football over the previous decade, changing into another extreme was always going to take time. As things stand, it certainly is taking longer than expected for Sarri to get this Juventus side to play how he wants them to.
