Sarri to revitalise Juventus plans

Maurizio Sarri’s plans for Juventus include building the team around Daniele Rugani, Miralem Pjanic, Federico Bernardeschi and Gonzalo Higuain.

Many players reportedly had felt marginalised and stifled by Max Allegri’s tactics and selection choices, but with a new Coach coming in, they have the chance to impress on the pitch again.

According to Tuttosport, Juve will look to rebuild their midfield with Paul Pogba their number one transfer target, while Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic the alternative.

Juve prepare Sarri proposal

Juventus will reportedly wait until after the Europa League Final to formally request Maurizio Sarri’s signature, with Chelsea ready to accept a €5m compensation.

According to British newspaper The Sun, Juve have made indirect approaches towards the former Napoli Coach, but out of respect for the upcoming Europa League Final against Arsenal, they are holding off on anything more concrete.

Straight after that game in Baku on May 29, the Bianconeri can ask what Chelsea want in compensation to release Sarri from his contract.

ADL: 'More fun to beat Sarri's Juve'

President Aurelio De Laurentiis hopes ex-Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri takes the Juventus job. “It’d be even more fun to win the Scudetto against him.”

Sarri was beloved by the fans, but left after disagreements with the patron, although he could be coming back to Serie A for their arch-rivals Juve.

“It is up to him, he is an adult and can make his own decisions,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Chelsea 'to stick with Sarri'

It is now being reported that Chelsea will give Coach Maurizio Sarri one more year at the helm.

Sarri had been increasingly linked with a return to Italy, in particular to replace Max Allegri at Juventus.

That was on the proviso that Chelsea would turn to club legend and Derby County boss Frank Lampard.

However, the Sun – which runs the story as an exclusive – claims the Blues will not sack the 60-year-old as they want Lampard to ‘spend another 12 months learning the ropes’.

'Why shouldn't Jorginho join Juve?'

Jorginho’s agent claims the Chelsea midfielder had a ‘rather brilliant’ season and does not see why he could not follow Maurizio Sarri to Juventus.

Jorginho followed Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea last summer, but the Coach has been heavily linked with replacing Max Allegri at Juve.

That prompted Radio Marte to ask Joao Santos whether the 27-year-old would be prepared to join the Partenopei’s arch-rivals.

“I don’t know anything about it,” he replied.

Juve 'still keen on Sarri'

Juventus are reportedly still keen on Maurizio Sarri but must pay Chelsea €5.7m in compensation for the ex-Napoli Coach.

A leading news agency in Italy claimed on Thursday morning that Juve would appoint Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola.

However, Corriere dello Sport is standing by its line that the Coach is in Abu Dhabi to not only relax but also negotiate a new contract, which would see him earn almost €6m more a season.

The Old Lady needs a new man

Speculation is rife on who will replace Max Allegri at Juventus, but Elio Salerno believes it ought to be Pep Guardiola or Mauricio Pochettino.

For the first time since the summer of 2014, Juventus are looking for a new Coach. It was announced last week that Max Allegri would be departing the club after five successful seasons, winning an impressive 11 trophies and enhancing his reputation as one of the game’s top tacticians. In truth, it was a separation that felt somewhat inevitable, but the news still came as a shock when officially communicated.

Sarri: 'Discuss what's wrong at Chelsea'

Maurizio Sarri warned he has plenty to tell Chelsea in their end of season meeting, but sees improvements after the squad “got two or three games incredibly wrong.”

The tactician held a Press conference today, but he also spoke to Sky Sport Italia afterwards.

He had said the club shouldn’t judge him on the outcome of the Europa League Final against Arsenal and expanded on that with the Italian reporters.

Jorginho: 'Surprised if Sarri left Chelsea'

Jorginho would be “surprised” if Maurizio Sarri left Chelsea this summer and would not plan to follow him if he joined Juventus.

The Italy international and former Napoli midfielder spoke to Sky Sport Italia a week ahead of the Europa League Final with Arsenal.

“It’s an international final of a prestigious competition and we are working well to be ready for it,” said Jorginho.

“We must believe in our football and know that we can do it. There are great players here and we can bring the trophy home.”

Sarri 'very happy' at Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri has insisted he is ‘very happy’ at Chelsea and that he will only learn his fate at the end of the season.

Sarri is among the favourites to replace Max Allegri at Juventus this summer, while Milan and Roma have both been mentioned as suitors for the ex-Milan boss.

However, football.london quoted him as saying at a Press conference: “My future is Wednesday, I only have to think with that.

“I have two years left. I will speak to the club as I want to see if they are happy with me.
