Andersen: 'Time to step up in my career'

Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen believes it could be “time to further my career,” amid interest from Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish centre-back has attracted the interest of several big-name clubs from around Europe’s big leagues, and he feels it could be time for him to move on from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

“It could be time to further my career,” he told bt.dk.

Sacchi: 'Sarri same level as Guardiola'

Arrigo Sacchi insists Pep Guardiola never considered the Juventus job, but Maurizio Sarri is “on the same level as Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino.”

The man who revolutionised football in the late 1980s and created Il Grande Milan, one of the most successful teams of all time, is friends with both Sarri and Guardiola.

Despite months of speculation, the Manchester City boss never was in talks with the Old Lady.

Roma slap €70m tag on Zaniolo

Roma reportedly want to build their new team around Nicolò Zaniolo and are unwilling to sell him for less than €70m.

According to transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Giallorossi want to start afresh under new Coach Paulo Fonseca and they see the teenager as the perfect player to build the team around.

The Sky Sport Italia journalist reports that the capital club will refuse all offers unless one arrives that is impossible to turn down, such as the bids offered for Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker in recent years.

Allegri: 'I'm taking a year off'

Max Allegri has confirmed he will “take a year off to recharge the batteries and take my personal life back in hand” after the Juventus dismissal.

The tactician was speaking at an event on leadership in Milan this evening when he answered a question on his future.

Inter waiting for Perisic offers

Ivan Perisic visited the Inter headquarters today and is reportedly on the market, but nobody has yet matched the €40m asking price.

It was only a brief 20-minute meeting before he went off on his summer vacation.

Sportitalia claim new Coach Antonio Conte has put the Croatia international on the list of players who can be sacrificed.

However, there are believed to be no suitable offers on the table, including from the Premier League, which Perisic is eager to join.

Spurs see Ndombele bid rejected

Lyon rejected a Tottenham Hotspur offer for Tanguy Ndombele worth €45m plus bonuses, it’s reported, so Juventus are staying informed.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs saw their initial proposal for the midfielder turned down.

Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici was in Paris on his way to London this week and had a meeting with Olympique Lyonnais.

It’s believed no figures were discussed, but the Bianconeri asked to be kept informed in case anyone meets the Ndombele asking price.

Bruno Fernandes open to Inter idea

Inter are using Joao Mario to tempt Sporting CP into a Bruno Fernandes sale. "Seeing my name associated with Inter is important."

It’d be a return to Serie A for the 24-year-old, who made his mark at Novara, Udinese and Sampdoria before the €10m sale to Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2017.

Fernandes has gone from strength to strength and was a key figure in the Portugal side that won the Nations League last night, beating the Netherlands 1-0.

England calling for Diawara

Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara is pushing for a Premier League move, with Tottenham, Watford and Wolves interested.

The Guinea international turns 22 next month and was a €14.5m investment from Bologna in the summer of 2016.

However, he has struggled for playing time under Carlo Ancelotti, making 19 competitive appearances this season, most of them off the bench.

Tottenham had been in talks several months ago, but seem to have cooled their intention in recent weeks.

Milan are reportedly open to the idea of selling midfielder Franck Kessie, but will only consider bids above €30m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri don’t consider the Ivory Coast international to be unsellable this summer and are willing to listen to offers.

Arsenal €48m for Sampdoria pair

Arsenal proposed a double €48m deal for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen and midfielder Dennis Praet, both also Milan targets.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are ready to step into action after facing competition from the Rossoneri.

Centre-back Andersen and midfielder Praet are both valued at around €25m, so although Arsenal haven’t reached the asking price yet, they are getting very close.
