Bergomi: 'Is Eriksen good enough for Inter?'

Inter legend Beppe Bergomi believes Christian Eriksen ‘will always be a problem’ for the club and doesn’t have what it takes to shine in Serie A.

The Derby della Madonnina with Milan kicks off today at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT), click here for a match preview.

Despite the shortage of options due to injury, suspension and COVID-19, Antonio Conte still seems certain to leave Eriksen on the bench.

Three important months for Eriksen?

Christian Eriksen has struggled to establish himself at Inter and Tuttosport believes his future depends on the next three months at San Siro.

The Denmark international, who arrived from Tottenham in January, has been in and out of coach Antonio Conte’s squad and rumours emerged he could be leaving already after six months.

But the 28-year-old, who signed a lucrative four-year contract upon his arrival, is still in the squad after the transfer window closed last night and must fight to convince the current Nerazzurri coach.

Milan, Roma and Tottenham chase Rudiger

Milan and Roma are options for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, although Tottenham Hotspur are the new favourites for his signature.

The centre-back is not part of Frank Lampard’s plans for the current campaign and has been told to find himself another club.

A 27-year-old German international, he has Serie A experience with Roma from 2015-17, when he completed the €35m move to Stamford Bridge.

His current contract runs to June 2022 and he could therefore be allowed to leave on loan.

Report: No options left for Milik

Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik seems set to continue at the San Paolo, as Tottenham reportedly move their attention to Carlos Vinicius at Benfica.

The Poland international saw his move to Roma fall through, as Juventus moved for Alvaro Morata and Edin Dzeko ended up staying in the capital.

Spurs were linked with the 26-year-old, but Sky Sport Italia reports the Lilywhites have decided against pursuing a move for the former Ajax centre-forward.

Fulham challenge Tottenham for Skriniar

Inter will sell Milan Skriniar for the right price, but if Tottenham Hotspur don’t reach it, then there are reports Fulham may well get there instead.

The centre-back is available after he was left on the bench for the entire Europa League Final Eight tournament and the opening Serie A game of the season, despite Stefan de Vrij’s suspension.

Spurs have been in negotiations for several weeks, but seemingly not prepared to offer above €35-40m, whereas the asking price for Inter is €50m.

Man Utd and Everton eye Milik

Manchester United and Everton have joined Tottenham Hotspur in their pursuit of Napoli outcast Arkadiusz Milik.

The striker has been excluded from the squad because he refused to sign a new contract, while a deal with Roma fell through at the last minute.

Tottenham had therefore become the new favourites for the Poland international centre-forward.

However, now the Daily Express claim Manchester United and Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton have approached Napoli to sign Milik.

Skriniar not right for Conte's Inter

Milan Skriniar appears to be on the way out of Inter, as Kaustubh Pandey explains why the Slovakian simply didn’t suit Antonio Conte’s tactics.

The last few months have been very strange for Milan Skriniar. When Antonio Conte first came in to replace Luciano Spalletti at Inter last summer, many saw the Slovakian as a player who could become an icon under the maniacal Italian.
