Moratti advises Inter signings

Massimo Moratti urged Inter to sign “a new centre-back and striker” in the January transfer window, but won’t buy back into the club.

The former President no longer owns shares in the club, but remains actively involved in supporting and advising Suning Group.

“I am very optimistic for the future of Inter, as the loss to Udinese was just a bump in the road,” Moratti told Sky Sport Italia after their first defeat of the season.

Thohir: All good with Suning

Erick Thohir insists “everything’s fine” with Suning Group, despite talk of discord between the two Inter shareholders.

Reports on Monday suggested Suning were trying to but out Thohir’s 30 percent stake in Inter, only to be quoted a €200m asking price, but the Indonesian assured there were no problems behind the scenes.

Thohir: €200m for Inter shares?

Suning Group reportedly wants to buy out Erick Thohir at Inter, but the Indonesian is said to be demanding €200m for his 30 percent stake.

According to Corriere della Sera, the pair “aren’t in total harmony” after Thohir rejected Suning’s offer of €42.5m for his Inter shares, instead holding out for signficantly more.

The newspaper notes this poses “another problem” for the Chinese conglomerate, which also has “no intention” of splashing the cash in January.

Inter bond receives 'double' offers

Inter released a statement insisting they have received “orders around double the required subscriptions” for their €300m bond.

The announcement of the bond prompted some “head-scratching” from Bloomberg, but the club is confident the deal will help repay the €230m loan to Goldman Sachs, which was taken out by previous owner Erick Thohir in 2014.

Inter offer €300m bond

Inter have officially announced the issuing of secured bonds worth €300m, maturing in 2022.

The Nerazzurri took out a €230m loan from Goldman Sachs in 2014, and it was reported last week that they’d aim to refinance it.

The loan was taken out by former majority shareholder Erick Thohir, before close to 70 per cent of the club was sold to Chinese conglomerate Suning Group.

Repayments have already been made by the club, seeing the debt fall to €208m.

Inter to seek loan refinancing

Inter are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to refinance a €230m loan from Goldman Sachs taken out in 2015.

The loan was taken out by former majority shareholder Erick Thohir, before close to 70 per cent of the club was sold to Chinese conglomerate Suning Group.

Repayments have already been made by the club, seeing the debt fall to €208m, but Il Sole 24 Ore reports that bonds will be issued to pay off that loan, and take out a new, longer term, finance agreement.

Moratti: 'Inter sale nothing like Milan'

Former Inter President Massimo Moratti claims their takeover cannot be compared to that of Milan because “our operation was fully transparent.”

The Yonghong Li purchase of the Rossoneri from Silvio Berlusconi continues to raise question marks, as while UEFA consider their Financial Fair Play plan, the New York Times ran a report on the empty offices of Li’s supposed mining company.

Thohir: ‘Ozil? Maybe…’

President Erick Thohir says Inter are evaluating January targets but admits “I’m not sure” if Mesut Ozil will leave Arsenal.

The German midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and it has been suggested that the Nerazzurri could get him on the cheap in the winter transfer window.

“We’re studying how we can strengthen the team,” Thohir told Bolalob.

“We’re still looking for the players to buy. We have a lot of good scouts all over the place.

Inter President Erick Thohir says talk of a move for Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil is “just gossip”.

“That’s just gossip,” the Indonesian businessman, who owns 30 per cent of the Beneamata told metrotvnews.com.

Thohir: ‘Inter expect top four’

Inter President Erick Thohir doesn’t see a repeat of Roberto Mancini’s second spell - “our goal is the Champions League”.

The Nerazzurri have won five of their first six games under Luciano Spalletti, but their performances have been unconvincing, leading to fears they could drop off much as Mancio’s side did in 2015-16.

“We were expecting these results, thanks to Spalletti’s leadership,” Thohir told Bola.liputan6.
