Caceres flies in for Milan medical

Martin Caceres has landed in Italy and will undergo a medical with Milan tomorrow, preparing to sign the four-month contract.

The Uruguay international has been a free agent since his contract with Juventus expired in July 2016.

He had been very close to several clubs during the last few weeks, including Fiorentina and Crystal Palace, but both times the move fell apart.

It’s reported that was due to his excessive wage demands more than the failure of a medical.

Caceres would then be subjected to medical tests to assure he isn’t carrying an injury and could contribute right away.
