Udinese: 'No Jankto sale'

Udinese warn Jakub Jankto “will not be moving anywhere in January,” despite interest from Milan, Juventus, Inter, Arsenal and Everton.

The midfielder has attracted the gaze of several top clubs around Europe thanks to his Serie A performances.

“Our objective is to improve as a team, all together,” Udinese director of sport Manuel Gerolin told Tuttomercatoweb.

“The transfer market is a consequence of our good work. I think Jankto will not be moving anywhere in January.”

Mustafi on Juve radar

Juventus have reportedly asked Arsenal about a January swoop for Shkodran Mustafi, but were told he is not for sale.

According to Rai Sport, the former Sampdoria defender is considered a prime target, having already been linked with Inter over the summer.

The Bianconeri are seeking a new centre-back because Benedikt Howedes has managed only one appearance all season and is out until at least the New Year with yet another muscular injury.

English interest in EDF?

Roma will reportedly offer Coach Eusebio Di Francesco a new contract to fend off interest from the Premier League.

According to Calciomercato.com, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea “have sent several observers” to watch Di Francesco’s Roma up close.

However, Corriere dello Sport warns Giallorossi sporting director Monchi is ready to tie down the former Sassuolo boss with an improved deal.

Inter to discuss Jankto?

It’s reported Inter will use their match with Udinese to discuss a move for Jakub Jankto.

The Czech midfielder has been impressive for the Zebrette this season, and scored twice in the 3-0 win at Crotone on Monday night.

After that match, the youngster stated that he didn’t want to spend his whole career in Serie A and there is interest from the Premier League, most notably Arsenal.

However, Tuttosport is reporting that Inter are looking to beat the English clubs to the punch, as well as their city rivals Milan.

N'Zonzi denies Arsenal move

Sevilla man and Juventus transfer target Steven N’Zonzi denied he’ll join Arsenal after flying to London. “It has nothing to do with football.”

The midfielder has long been on the Juve radar and fuelled reports of a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window when going to London over the last few days.

“It’s complete rubbish,” N’Zonzi told France Football. “While it’s true that I am in London, it has nothing to do with football.

N’Zonzi flies out to London

Former Juventus target Steven N’Zonzi appears close to a Premier League move, with reports he’s in London to discuss his future.

The Sevilla midfielder was heavily linked with the Bianconeri, but they signed Blaise Matuidi in the summer and appear to be targeting Emre Can for next season.

According to Cadena Cope, Sevilla have given N’Zonzi permission to fly to London to resolve his future.

Jankto: ‘I won’t stay in Italy…’

Jakub Jankto will “stay focused on Udinese” but asked about a Premier League move replies “I’ve always said I don’t want to stay in Italy for my whole career”.

The Czech international has been linked with Arsenal and Milan, and spoke to Sky after his brace against Verona tonight.

“I dedicate my brace to the whole team,” Jankto said after the match.

Barcelona look at Koulibaly

Barcelona are the latest club to have set their sights on Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly after Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Official: Manolas at Roma until 2022

Kostas Manolas has officially signed a new contract with Roma that expires in June 2022. “I am very happy, we all agreed.”

The Greek international had been a target for the likes of Zenit, Inter, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

His previous deal was due to expire in June 2019 and he announced the new contract live on the club’s Facebook page.

Report: Inter want Boca starlet

Inter are reportedly keeping tabs on Boca Juniors and Argentina starlet Cristian Pavon.

According to Calciomercato.com, Inter began scouting Pavon a matter of days ago, with the 21-year-old an attacking player who can play out wide or through the middle.

He represented his country at the 2016 Olympic Games and was also called up to the senior team for their friendlies against Russia and Nigeria last month.

However, the website warns Pavon has a €37m release clause and is also being courted by Manchester City Arsenal.
