Reports in the UK claim Arsenal are stepping up their plans to sign Milan Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, but the Rossoneri’s priority remains Joshua Zirkzee.

Arsenal have emerged as strong contenders for 20-year-old striker Sesko one of the most sought-after young forwards in Europe.

Currently under contract with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, German expert Christian Falk reported in February that Milan had offered €40m to sign the promising striker who has a €50m clause.

However, the most recent reports in the UK, claim Arsenal are quickly moving to the front row to sign the 20-year-old.

Arsenal move forward for Sesko

According to The Standard, Arsenal are stepping up their plans for a new forward and Sesko is among the primary names on their agenda.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also reportedly keen and the striker’s representatives have been guests at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge this season.

Milan have just been eliminated from the Europa League quarter-finals by Serie A rivals Roma and remain interested in signing a new centre forward in 2024-25 with Olivier Giroud expected to join LAFC on a free transfer in June.

Sesko is one of the Rossoneri targets for next season but their priority remains Bologna star Zirkzee, scorer of 11 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions this term.
