Morata agrees Milan deal?

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Milan this summer, according to reports.

Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that the former Juventus man has decided not to wait for offers from Chelsea and Manchester United, instead giving the green light to a €7.5m per season deal from the Rossoneri.

Milan chiefs will now have to deal with the club over a fee for the Spaniard, who has failed to find regular playing time in Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Milan in pole for Morata?

Reports in Spain claim Milan are in pole position to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The 24-year-old returned to Estadio Bernabeu last summer after Los Merengues activated a buyback clause included in the deal which took him to Juventus.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the Spanish international in the past, but it was thought he preferred a move to the Premier League.

However, Marca is reporting this morning that Morata is now hugely tempted to make the move to San Siro, as he’d be guaranteed a starting spot.

Milan want Morata

It’s claimed Milan are interested in Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, though they face competition from England.

The former Juventus forward returned to Los Merengues last summer, but he has struggled to break into Zinedine Zidane’s first XI.

The 24-year-old has scored 20 goals in all competitions, but has only been given 17 starts.

According to Tuttosport, Morata is likely to leave this summer, and the Rossoneri have made him their number one striking target.

Milan go all-in on Kalinic

Milan have realised Alvaro Morata is too expensive, so are focusing on a €35m bid for Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, it’s reported.

The search for a new centre-forward is no secret, as Carlos Bacca is unsuited to Coach Vincenzo Montella’s style of football.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid hitman Morata is the first choice, but his €70m price-tag and competition from Chelsea make it unlikely.

Instead, the Rossoneri are piling all their resources on to getting Kalinic from Fiorentina.

Morata: 'Juve debt to Real Madrid'

Alvaro Morata admits he is “in debt” with Real Madrid after helping Juventus knock them out of the Champions League – and could make up for it in the Final.

The striker spent two years in Turin before the Merengues activated their buy-back clause, though he has struggled for playing time at the Bernabeu.

“When I left Real Madrid, I promised to myself that I would return with more experience, because the best players in the world are here,” Morata told Real Madrid TV.

Buffon: ‘Morata move a disappointment’

Gianluigi Buffon admits “it was a disappointment for me” when Real Madrid bought Alvaro Morata back from Juventus.

The striker spent two seasons with the Bianconeri, but the original deal which took him to Turin contained a buyback clause, which Los Merengues activated last summer.

“It took him a couple of months to adapt, it’s normal,” Buffon told Real Madrid TV.

“He learned perfectly how to move on an Italian pitch and it’s different to in Spain. Juventus play in a different way to Real Madrid.

Zaza torn between Juve and Morata

Simone Zaza admits he can’t decide whether to support Juventus or his “brother” Alvaro Morata’s Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The first leg semi-final results suggest the Final in Cardiff will be between these two giants, as Real crushed Atletico Madrid 3-0 and Juve earned a 2-0 away win at Monaco.

“If that is the Final, I don’t think I will go to see the game,” Zaza told Radio Onda Cer.
