Demiral: 'Back soon for Juve'

Merih Demiral has confirmed that he will be back playing for Juventus ‘very soon’, explaining why he feels more ‘powerful’ in Bianconero.

Demiral had just broken into Juve’s starting XI until an ACL injury appeared to end his season and dash his hopes of playing for Turkey at Euro 2020.

Capello critical of Sarri choices

Fabio Capello is far from convinced by Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus choices in the Coppa Italia Final against Napoli, including the Cristiano Ronaldo penalty placement.

The game ended 0-0, with Napoli winning the penalty shoot-out 4-2, but CR7 never got to take his kick because he’d been scheduled last.

By that stage, the Partenopei had already converted four, while Paulo Dybala’s was saved and Danilo fired over the bar.

Will Sarri's Juventus stand up?

Juventus were the first team to reach the Olimpico showpiece but, as Livio Caferoglu writes, they have plenty to mull over before the Final with Napoli...

For Juventus, there was an overriding sense of relief when Gianluca Rocchi blew for full-time last Friday. They booked their place in the Coppa Italia Final, courtesy of a goalless draw with Milan, and pulled through without any injuries, even managing to play a bit in the first half. However, their performance levels plummeted after the restart, leaving Maurizio Sarri with more questions than answers going into Wednesday’s Final against former club Napoli.

Although under extreme circumstances, Serie A is finally returning, so Vilizar Yakimov evaluates the chances of each Scudetto contender, starting from Juventus.

We all knew Serie A would be unpredictable this term, but the COVID-19 world crisis and the interruption of the league take the Scudetto battle to a whole different level.

Juventus, Lazio and Inter clearly declared their title ambitions throughout the campaign, but after nearly 90 days without any action, the remaining 12 rounds will be played under unusual circumstances.

Five substitutions, no fans in the stadiums and a tight schedule of games in the summer are only some of the changes that teams must adapt to, so who has the upper hand?
