Dybala calls for action against racism

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has warned the Federcalcio that players will take ‘measures into our own hands’ if no action will be taken against racism in Italian stadiums.

The Argentine ace gave an in-depth interview with CNN ahead of the resumption behind closed doors and recalled the ugly scenes when former teammate Moise Kean was targeted by racial abuse during an away game against Cagliari.

He also pointed to similar incidents with Miralem Pjanic and Brescia forward Mario Balotelli.

Dybala: 'I'm not at 100 per cent yet'

Juventus star Paulo Dybala admits he is ‘still not quite 100 per cent’ after a lengthy struggle with Coronavirus, but is excited about the packed fixture list.

The Argentina international had several positive swabs over a 46-day period before finally shaking off COVID-19, whereas teammates Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi managed to recover much quicker.

“I had Coronavirus, but I feel much better now,” Dybala said during the Gamers Without Borders Instagram Live transmission, as he beat Dele Alli.

Juventus' recovered trio in full training

Juventus trio Blaise Matuidi, Daniele Rugani and Paulo Dybala are, according to Tuttosport, not experiencing any physical problems in training after having recovered from COVID-19.

A medical investigation had revealed that coronavirus patients could suffer chronic respiratory problems after having contracted the virus.

Report: Dybala until 2025

Juventus will reportedly extend Paulo Dybala’s contract until June 2025 as soon as his agent can travel to Italy.

The Argentine forward has seemed set to sign a new deal at the Allianz Stadium and La Gazzetta dello Sport claims he is only formalities away from penning the extension.

Dybala’s agent has not been able to travel to Turin during the current crisis, but the newspaper reports that the talks will start when it’s possible for him to arrive in Italy.

Dybala and Napoli resume training

Paulo Dybala returned to the Juventus training ground for the first time today, while Napoli will begin work tomorrow after all their players tested negative for COVID-19.

As per the medical protocol, all the Serie A players and staff are undergoing blanket testing before they can be let back into the training grounds.

Dybala had struggled to shake off the coronavirus, testing positive repeatedly until he was finally given the all-clear this week, a month and a half after he was infected.
