Rakitic and cash for Bernardeschi rejected

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Barcelona offered €10m plus Ivan Rakitic for Federico Bernardeschi, but Juventus wanted double that.

There had been reports in Spain and Italy over the last few days of negotiations between the clubs for a Rakitic-Bernardeschi exchange deal.

However, it had been assumed the cash sum would be relatively small, perhaps even in favour of Barcelona.

Instead, Di Marzio maintains Barcelona proposed Rakitic plus €10m cash to take Bernardeschi to Camp Nou, but Juventus turned it down.

Kulusevski perfect for Juve future

Dejan Kulusevski represents a real coup for Juventus, but Vilizar Yakimov believes it only makes sense if he remains at Parma for this season.

It’s safe to say that 2019 was Dejan Kulusevski’s year. After making only three appearances for Atalanta last term, the talented teenager not only found his place at Parma, but has also become the Ducali’s most influential player.

Kulusevski’s tally of four goals and seven assists means that he has been directly involved in 46% of Parma’s goals this term. In fact, if we keep digging into his stats, we could well say that the 19-year-old Swede has been one of the best players not only at Parma, but in the whole league.
