Rakitic swap for Bernardeschi?

Reports in Spain and Italy suggest Juventus could try to bring Ivan Rakitic from Barcelona in exchange for Federico Bernardeschi.

The proposal had already been suggested over the summer, but never came to fruition.

Now La Repubblica newspaper, Calciomercato.com, Fichajes.net and Calciomercato.it are pushing the revival of this idea for the January transfer window.

Both players are struggling for time due to their tactical positions and would relish a new lease of life elsewhere.

Kulusevski perfect for Juve future

Dejan Kulusevski represents a real coup for Juventus, but Vilizar Yakimov believes it only makes sense if he remains at Parma for this season.

It’s safe to say that 2019 was Dejan Kulusevski’s year. After making only three appearances for Atalanta last term, the talented teenager not only found his place at Parma, but has also become the Ducali’s most influential player.

Kulusevski’s tally of four goals and seven assists means that he has been directly involved in 46% of Parma’s goals this term. In fact, if we keep digging into his stats, we could well say that the 19-year-old Swede has been one of the best players not only at Parma, but in the whole league.

Mancini: 'Florenzi Euro 2020 certainty'

Italy coach Roberto Mancini confirms Alessandro Florenzi and Federico Bernardeschi will be going to Euro 2020, whilst Mario Balotelli “needs to do more."

Roma full-back Florenzi and Juventus creative midfielder Bernardeschi have struggled with their club sides in recent months, but Mancini has no doubts.

“I don’t know if they will move in January, for me it’s difficult to say, but I can say that for the national team they have always played well, and for us they are two certainties,” the CT told Tuttomercatoweb.

Douglas Costa out for two weeks

Douglas Costa will be out for two weeks with a thigh strain, confirmed Juventus, while Matthijs de Ligt dislocated his shoulder.

The Bianconeri fought back to beat Atalanta 3-1 on Saturday, but it came at a price with new injury problems.

Douglas Costa only came on as a substitute in Bergamo, but still managed to suffer a new lesion to the right thigh.

It was confirmed by today’s tests at the J-Medical centre and a statement confirmed he will be out of action for circa 15 days.

Azzurri to break records in Bosnia?

Italy can write history against Bosnia-Herzegovina tonight as they have already equalled the record of nine consecutive wins set by Vittorio Pozzo in 1939.

Never have Italy won 10 matches in a row, but tonight the possibility presents itself at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.

This Azzurri can also pick up their sixth successive victory away from home - another feat never to occur in the history of the Italian national side.

The last time an Italy team managed to win five consecutive matches on the road was 56 years ago, in 1963.
