Marchisio: 'Vidal brings soul to Inter'

Claudio Marchisio believes his former Juventus teammate Arturo Vidal would ‘give soul’ to the Inter midfield, just as Antonio Conte has improved the club.

Barcelona star Vidal has repeatedly been linked with a move to San Siro, as they had been in negotiations last summer and again in January.

“I wouldn’t like to see him at Inter,” Marchisio told Radio 24.

Marchisio: 'Zero risk is impossible'

Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio urges Serie A to resume amid the pandemic, because there are so many people relying on the sport and ‘zero risk is impossible.’

A decision is expected over the next 24 hours on whether the FIGC medical protocol is accepted by the Government, which would open up to contact training and potentially games.

“At this moment, football is trapped in the claws of this situation just the same as any other profession,” Marchisio told Tuttosport.

Marchisio: 'Told Pogba he made mistake'

Claudio Marchisio reveals he personally “told off” Paul Pogba for making the mistake of leaving Juventus for Manchester United. “I hope he returns, it’d be good for both parties.”

The now-retired midfielder spoke to Sport Mediaset about the on-going pressure campaign behind the scenes to bring Pogba back to Turin.

“Last year I met him at a private event and told him off, saying he got it wrong when deciding to go to Manchester and should’ve remained with the Bianconeri,” said Marchisio.

Marchisio: 'I'd coach Juventus'

Claudio Marchisio has revealed he would love to coach Juventus and “sees himself” in Gaetano Castrovilli, Nicolò Barella and Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Marchisio was forced to hang up his boots in October 2019, having struggled with persistent knee problems.

Speaking during a live Instagram Q&A, the 34-year-old admitted he missed playing football.

“I miss the dressing room so much because you live your work there every day,” said Marchisio.
