Miha: ‘Some women know football…’

Sinisa Mihajlovic says “there are women who understand football” but not Paola Ferrari.

The former Milan Coach was criticised by Melissa Satta, Kevin-Prince Boateng’s girlfriend and responded by saying “women shouldn’t talk about football”.

Journalist Paola Ferrari called Mihajlovic “a boor” after those comments, and he was awarded the Golden Tapir by Striscia la Notizia for a second week in a row.

Balotelli: 'Prove I'm worthy of Italy'

Mario Balotelli insists he always put the effort in at Milan and wants to “prove to everybody I am worthy of the Azzurri shirt.”

The striker put in his second consecutive strong performance in the 1-0 win away to Sampdoria, a result achieved on new Coach Cristian Brocchi’s debut after Sinisa Mihajlovic was sacked.

Brocchi: 'Miha showed class'

Cristian Brocchi thanked predecessor Sinisa Mihajlovic for “a congratulatory message” after Milan beat Sampdoria.

The Coach made his debut just five days after replacing sacked Miha and emerged from Marassi with a 1-0 victory thanks to Carlos Bacca’s strike.

“I saw more than the five per cent new ideas I had been hoping for,” confessed Brocchi on Mediaset Premium.

Montolivo: 'Brocchi and Miha's team'

Riccardo Montolivo insists there was “a lot of Cristian Brocchi and a lot of Sinisa Mihajlovic” in Milan’s victory at Sampdoria.

Carlos Bacca scored the decisive goal at Marassi on Brocchi’s managerial debut.

“We are happy, because aside from the change of management we needed a victory after many negative results,” the captain told Mediaset Premium.

Clear plan needed at Milan

When will Silvio ever learn? After dismissing Sinisia Mihajlovic over the phone, the appointment of Cristian Brocchi now makes it five changes on the bench since 2014. Berlusconi appears intent on handing the reigns to every former Milan player possible, without ever entertaining the idea that the unstable and, at times, ludicrous strategy is not helping the club in the long-term.

Mihajlovic set for Lazio?

Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly close to agreeing a deal to become Lazio Coach for next season.

The Serbian Coach was sacked by Milan this week, meaning that he can’t take another Serie A position this term.

Having sacked Stefano Pioli, the Biancocelesti have appointed Simone Inzaghi until the end of the season, but Tuttomercatoweb reports that President Claudio Lotito is keen to bring in Mihajlovic for the next campaign.

The website believes that talks are already underway, with positive talks between the two parties.
