Balotelli still training alone

Mario Balotelli is yet to return to training with his Milan teammates, struggling with a sports hernia.

Miha turns to Donnarumma?

Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly ready to make 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma the youngster goalkeeper ever to appear in Serie A.

The Serbian Coach is believed to be considering replacing Diego Lopez with the youngster, who would beat the age record set by a 17-year-old Gianluigi Buffon.

Tuttosport has reported today that the relationship between Mihajlovic and Lopez has deteriorated and that Donnarumma will start in Wednesday’s ‘Trofeo Berlusconi’ match against Inter.

Derby d’Italia draws a blank

The Derby d’Italia ended in stalemate, while Roma and Napoli look like they will be difficult to stop, writes Richard Hall.

Inter and Juventus played out an entertaining 0-0 draw in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday night. The Gazzetta Dello Sport described the result as one that ‘would make nobody happy’ and perhaps they were right. Both teams had chances to win the game, and enjoyed long spells where they looked in control. The point however, will do little to take the pressure off the under-performing Juventus nor will it deflect criticism away from Inter, who despite starting the season well have had questions asked of them.

Miha: Ten days to save job?

Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic reportedly has ten days to save his job, with home games against Sassuolo and Chievo coming up.

The Rossoneri have got off to a sluggish start to the season under their new boss, despite spending heavily on new players over the summer.

They were held to a 1-1 draw by Torino on Saturday and have now gone three matches without a win, occupying 13th place in the table with 10 points from eight outings.

Miha: 'Tactics won't save Milan'

Sinisa Mihajlovic responds to Silvio Berlusconi's jab: 'Changing the formation won't solve Milan's problems'.

The Rossoneri Coach was criticised by his President, who claimed that the team needed tactics, and the Serbian responded to that in today's Press conference.

Ancelotti: 'It hurt to reject Milan'

Carlo Ancelotti believes “Sinisa Mihajlovic will do well at Milan” and explains his decision to reject a comeback.

The Coach is taking time off after he was sacked by Real Madrid and turned down repeated offers to take over at San Siro this summer.

“The truth is that (CEO Adriano) Galliani put a lot of pressure on in order to convince me to return, but in my head I only had the idea of taking a year off, as I needed a few months to rest,” Ancelotti told Milan Channel in a phone interview.
