Two games for Mihajlovic?

The Serbian replaced Filippo Inzaghi on the bench this summer, but the Rossoneri are five points worse off than at this stage last season.

Following defeat to Inter in last night’s Trofeo Berlusconi, club President Silvio Berlusconi was in no mood to speak, but notably didn’t back the Coach.

“I was disappointed not to win as it's dedicated to the memory of my father,” the patron told reporters after the match.

Derby d’Italia draws a blank

The Derby d’Italia ended in stalemate, while Roma and Napoli look like they will be difficult to stop, writes Richard Hall.

Inter and Juventus played out an entertaining 0-0 draw in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday night. The Gazzetta Dello Sport described the result as one that ‘would make nobody happy’ and perhaps they were right. Both teams had chances to win the game, and enjoyed long spells where they looked in control. The point however, will do little to take the pressure off the under-performing Juventus nor will it deflect criticism away from Inter, who despite starting the season well have had questions asked of them.
