Brozovic has 'light viral load'

Marcelo Brozovic has been ruled out of the Inter squad for today’s game against Sassuolo after an inconclusive COVID-19 test.

Brozovic had seemingly recovered from COVID-19 after contracting it on international duty with Croatia.

Inter: Brozovic negative for COVID

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has tested negative for coronavirus and hopes to be ready in time to face Sassuolo in Serie A this weekend.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Croatian has recovered from COVID-19 and will now carry out the necessary fitness tests before he can re-join the group at Pinetina.

Brozovic could be available for the match against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium on Saturday, if he gets the required procedures done in time.

Kolarov the ninth positive at Inter

Aleksandar Kolarov is the ninth Inter player to contract COVID-19, as he returned from Serbia with a muscle injury and later learned he tested positive.

The left-back was already uncertain for the match against Torino on Sunday due to a muscle injury which led to his withdrawal from the Serbia squad.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Kolarov received some bad news when he returned to Italy, as the test results at Pinetina ruled him out for the upcoming games and placed him in isolation.

Brozovic flying back to Italy

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is returning to Italy today in a private jet after he tested positive for Covid-19 while on international duty with Croatia.

The Croatian FA confirmed his departure with a statement, noting he was already isolated from the rest of the squad.

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has tested positive for coronavirus during international duty with Croatia.

Domagoj Vida took to the pitch while positive for COVID-19 and the fear of possible infections has turned into reality.

The Croatia defender was informed he tested positive after playing the first half against Turkey on Wednesday and was brought off after the initial 45 minutes.

The 31-year-old was isolated, but Croatia has confirmed Brozovic has now tested positive.

Report: No offers for Brozo

Inter reportedly hope to sell Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic before the transfer market closes but haven’t received any concrete offers.

Bozovic has been linked with Monaco in Ligue 1, where compatriot Niko Kovac is in charge, but Il Corriere dello Sport reveals there are no concrete bids from the French side.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly shown interest in Inter duo Marcelo Brozovic and Radja Nainggolan, who are both expected to leave San Siro before October 5.

Kovac: 'Monaco not interested in Brozo'

Monaco coach Niko Kovac has claimed the Ligue 1 side are not interested in Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. ‘We are following other leads’.

The Croatian coached his compatriot in the Under-21 national side and Brozovic has been linked with a reunion with the former Bayern Munich coach in Ligue 1.

“I think it’s very easy to be linked with a player I have already coached in the past,” he told newspaper Nice-Matin.
