Milan stick with 4-3-3?

Milan look set to stick with a 4-3-3 against Chievo, as Sinisa Mihajlovic has a lack of strikers.

There had been speculation that the Serbian Coach could return to the 4-3-1-2 shape deployed in pre-season for tonight’s match, and he has admitted he wants to play a 4-4-2.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport report that with Mario Balotelli, M’Baye Niang and Jeremy Menez still out with injury, a front-three will be preferred.

Serie A Week 9: Did You Know?

Roma wreck Fiorentina records, Inter continue their Palermo trouble and Gianluigi Donnarumma makes history as Susy Campanale rounds up the stats.

Roma had not been alone on top of the table since Week 12 in 2013-14.

Until this game, Fiorentina had won all their Serie A home fixtures this season and hadn’t conceded here in six. They also hadn’t let in a goal before half-time. Now every team in the League has conceded at least once in the opening 45 minutes.

Roma have found the net in their last 22 competitive matches for a total of 45 goals. The Lupi won three of their last four Serie A visits to the Stadio Franchi, drawing 1-1 last season.
