Fenerbahe favourites for Asamoah

Kwadwo Asamoah is more likely to leave Inter for Fenerbahce than Watford, claim reports in Italy and Ghana.

The 31-year-old wing-back is expected to exit San Siro this summer, as his contract is due to expire in June 2021 and he has fallen down the pecking order.

According to FCInternews.it, there are offers on the table from both Premier League side Watford and Turkish club Fenerbahce.

More detail is provided by ghanasoccernet.com, who suggest negotiations are above all advanced with Fenerbahce, so they are his first choice.

Report: Asamoah available for Inter

Inter’s Kwadwo Asamoah has responded well to the therapy and should be at Antonio Conte’s disposal in the event of a return to the pitch.

Tuttosport claims that Asamoah has seen positive results from the rehabilitation programme he underwent to recover from an injury in the cartilage of his left knee.

In the weeks ahead of the forced break, the former Juventus player was part of the Nerazzurri squad but only appeared as an unused substitute.

Inter look to Alonso or Palmieri

Inter are planning to sign one of Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso this summer, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri started out the season with Kwadwo Asamoah and Antonio Candreva as regular wing backs in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

However, Asamoah has struggled with injuries, and Candreva will turn 33-years-old in a number of days.

Ashley Young and Victor Moses were brought in in the January transfer window as cover, with Inter involved in the Europa League.

Inter creating ideal Conte side

Inter have made the ideal signings for Antonio Conte in Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young and Victor Moses, assures Kaustubh Pandey.

Over the last few weeks, some of Inter’s transfers have become the butt of jokes for a more global football audience. The manner in which the club has signed two so-called ‘outdated’ players hasn’t made too many fans pleased and the jokes only hit a peak when Antonio Conte’s men drew links with Olivier Giroud and Arturo Vidal.

Inter: Sensi in, Asamoah out

Inter left-back Kwadwo Asamoah is set to miss the match against Bologna tomorrow, but Stefano Sensi has travelled with the squad.

Corriere dello Sport reports the decision is to preserve Asamoah for the game against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

He has a history of knee problems and missed a large portion of the 2014-15 season when at Juventus due to tearing his ACL.

However, it is assured the Ghanaian missing the match is only a precaution and to let him rest, rather than any fresh injury.
