Allegri: 'Keep momentum going'

Max Allegri urged Juventus to “keep the momentum and enthusiasm going” after continuing their Serie A comeback against Lazio.

Paulo Dybala scored a stunning solo effort and forced Santiago Gentiletti into an own goal in the comfortable 2-0 victory.

“It was a difficult game, as Lazio have some very talented forwards. It’s a good moment of form and we have to grit our teeth to keep going,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

Khedira misses Lazio

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has not been included in the squad to face Lazio tomorrow.

The Bianconeri are suffering something of a crisis in midfield, with Paul Pogba suspended and a raft of injuries.

It was hoped that the German international would be fit to return from a calf problem for tomorrow’s match, but Khedira has not been included in Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s 21-man squad.

Allegri: ‘Focus on winning’

Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri insists he’s not looking at other teams - “we have to think about winning our games.”

The Bianconeri are currently eight points adrift of table-topping Roma, but the tactician isn’t looking at the results of their rivals.

“First we have to try and win another game, which is tomorrow,” Allegri told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the Sassuolo game.

Juventus lose Pereyra, Asamoah

Juventus have lost Roberto Pereyra and Kwadwo Asamoah to muscular injuries, the club confirms.

Pereyra came off injured after 37 minutes of yesterday’s win over Atalanta, and faces over a month on the sidelines.

His replacement Asamoah has also succumbed to a muscular injury, and is out for the next three weeks.

“During the match, El Tucumano [Pereyra] suffered a muscular problem in his right thigh,” a statement on the Bianconeri’s official website confirmed.

Asamoah: ‘Injury situation difficult’

Juventus’ Kwadwo Asamoah discusses his injury problems - “it was hard to stay at home for so long.”

The Ghanaian missed almost all of last season with knee problems, but made his return in the win over Bologna before the international break.

“It was a difficult time for me, because it’s something that has never happened to me in my career,” Asamoah admitted in an interview with Sky.

“It was hard to stay at home for so long, my family helped me a lot, and also my teammates were really helpful.
