Mancini: 'Inter fell away'

Roberto Mancini was “satisfied overall” with Inter’s performance against Juventus, even though “we fell away after the break.”

Both sides hit the woodwork in the 0-0 draw at San Siro with Marcelo Brozovic and Sami Khedira.

“We used the 4-2-3-1, as we did in the second half with Sampdoria. I was satisfied overall, it was a game of few chances, but I had some players back from international duty on Friday,” Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.

Inter lose in Chiasso

Inter were beaten 3-1 by Swiss second division side FC Chiasso in a friendly this evening.

The Nerazzurri were without a number of stars due to the international break, and fielded an experimental side for the match in the border town.

Coach Roberto Mancini initially opted for a back-three, with Danilo D’Ambrosio, Juan Jesus and Răzvan Popa.

However, the hosts took the lead on 24 minutes through Leonardo Malazzi, and Mancini switched to a back-four just 10 minutes later, dropping Alex Telles to left-back.
