Simone: 'Milan should get Icardi'

Former centre-forward Marco Simone claims Milan ‘already planned’ to sack Zvonimir Boban, has doubts about Ralf Rangnick’s proposed role and wants to see Mauro Icardi with the Diavolo.

The former sporting director Zvonimir Boban was sacked after a controversial interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport earlier this year, but the 51-year-old Simone has claimed the Milan hierarchy were only waiting for an opportunity.

Zanetti: 'Icardi no, Lautaro...'

Javier Zanetti ‘doesn’t think’ Mauro Icardi will return to Inter but assures he ‘sees’ Lautaro Martinez staying at the club.

Icardi seems set to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his season-long loan, meaning Inter could again be lumbered with a player who has no place in Antonio Conte’s plans.

“Right now we’re not talking about the transfer market, the most important thing is health,” Zanetti told ESPN.

Report: Milan have Icardi 'dream'

Milan are ‘dreaming’ of a sensational deal to sign Mauro Icardi from arch-rivals Inter, claims Corriere dello Sport.

The newspaper writes Milan could benefit from the continuing standoff between Inter and Juventus, who have long been linked with taking the striker to Turin.

The Argentine is currently on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, where he has scored 20 goals this season, and the French giants have a €70m option to buy.

Report: PSG pull out of Icardi deal

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ended their contact with Inter regarding loanee Mauro Icardi, who allegedly announced his intentions of a return to Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira has revealed that Icardi’s agent and wife, Wanda Nara, has talked to PSG director Leonardo and announced the Argentine’s decision.

The report claims that PSG have therefore ended their contact with Inter regarding a possible deal for the striker, who has contributed 20 goals in 31 games for Les Parisiens this campaign.

Napoli are, according to Il Mattino, open to the idea of bringing Inter loanee Mauro Icardi to the San Paolo after his stint at Paris Saint-Germain.

The reports have been claiming that Icardi will not stay at PSG beyond the current campaign and has opened for the possibility of a return to Serie A.

Inter want to sell the player and Juventus have been linked with a future move, but now Il Mattino claims that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will not let the opportunity to sign the Argentine pass without action.

Juve want to extend Ronaldo deal?

Juventus would like to extend Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with the club by another two years, according to a Spanish report.

Spanish daily AS state that the Bianconeri would like to extend Ronaldo’s current deal, which expires in June 2022, for a further two years.

This would take the Portuguese international's stay in Italy through to his 39th birthday.

In order to convince the former Real Madrid striker to stay in Turin, the club want to sign a younger striker to compliment the No 7’s skillset.

Icardi to Juve via PSG?

Mauro Icardi could join Juventus this summer via Paris Saint-Germain, according to Tuttosport.

Icardi is on-loan at the French giants from Inter following a revolution of sorts at the club last summer under Antonio Conte.

It’s been reported in recent weeks that Icardi isn’t happy at his situation in Ligue 1, with the striker used sparingly and is behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the attacking hierarchy.
