Juve: Berardi, Gomes, Dragovic

Juventus are planning to sign Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi, Valencia's Andre Gomes and Dynamo Kiev's Aleksandar Dragovic, say reports.

The Bianconeri are already preparing their transfer market campaign to build a team capable of challenging for the Champions League, and they have identified targets in all three departments.

Juventus prepare Berardi contract

Juventus will reportedly hand Domenico Berardi a five-year contract when they sign him from Sassuolo this summer.

The Bianconeri sold their stake in the forward to the Emilian side this summer, but retained a buyback clause.

Last month it was reported that the Turin giants had decided to pay €25m for the Italian Under-21 international this summer, and Tuttomercatoweb today reiterates that claim.

Juve to activate Berardi option

Juventus have reportedly decided to activate their €25m option on Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, beating Milan, Inter and Tottenham.

The 21-year-old has scored 37 goals in just 84 Serie A appearances, also providing 30 assists.

His disciplinary record and temper have been considered issues, but that didn’t stop the likes of Tottenham, Inter and Milan showing interest.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve Coach Max Allegri has given the all-clear to sign Berardi this summer.

Galliani: 'Ibrahimovic unsustainable'

Adriano Galliani warns Milan can’t afford Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Domenico Berardi and Leonardo Pavoletti fit the new project.

President Silvio Berlusconi announced he wanted to build an all-Italian side at San Siro, based mostly on their youth academy.

“The project of a young Italian Milan intrigues me too,” CEO Galliani told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

“For a director there’s no greater joy than seeing one of his young lads come up through the ranks to reach the senior squad and maybe even the Nazionale.

U21 line-ups: Andorra-Italy

Italy visit Andorra in the European Under-21 Championship qualifier this evening with Domenico Berardi and Luca Mazzitelli.

It kicks off at the Estadi Comunal at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT).

The Azzurrini are top of qualifying Group 2 with 16 points from six matches, but need a victory to stay four clear of second-placed Slovenia (who have a game in hand).

Gigi Di Biagio’s side fought back from a surprise early goal to crush the Republic of Ireland 4-1 in Waterford on Friday.

Ausilio: 'Berardi impossible'

Inter director Piero Ausilio confirms Ezequiel Lavezzi almost joined them, but Domenico Berardi “is almost impossible.”

The transfer guru spoke to Inter Channel and answered questions sent in by supporters.

“When I meet fans they always ask about Lavezzi. He was everyone’s dream signing for June and it would’ve been a very strong possibility.

Bernardeschi gets Azzurrini call

Federico Bernardeschi and Domenico Berardi are in the Italy Under-21 side to face Ireland and Andorra.

The pair had been tipped for a call-up to Antonio Conte’s senior Azzurri side, but it seems they will instead remain with the youths.

Milan’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has also been included, along with his teammate Alessio Romagnoli and Juventus’ Daniele Rugani.

There is also the first call for Federico Di Francesco, the son of Sassuolo Coach Eusebio.
