Berardi: ‘Sassuolo can aim for Europe’

Domenico Berardi insists Sassuolo “can fight to the end for a place in Europe” and discusses his record against Milan.

The forward announced himself on the Serie A stage with four goals against the Rossoneri in 2014, and will renew acquaintances on Sunday.

“It’s a fantastic evening, I’ll always carry it with me,” Berardi told Sky.

Berardi: ‘Focused on Sassuolo’

Domenico Berardi is “thinking about doing well with Sassuolo” rather than links with Juventus.

The Bianconeri retain a buyback option on the forward, but his agent warned this week that it’s not certain he’ll move to Turin in the summer.

“For the moment I’m thinking about doing well with Sassuolo,” Berardi said in an interview with Sky.

“I’ll think about the rest later.

Agent: ‘Berardi-Juve agreement’

The agent of Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi says there’s a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to move to Juventus but ‘that doesn’t mean he’ll join them for sure’.

The youngster is one of the most sought-after talents on the peninsula and has been heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri this summer.

“It’s true, there is a kind of gentlemen’s agreement with the Bianconeri,” agent Simone Seghedoni told calciomercato.com.

Roma fined for walkie-talkies

Roma have been fined €10,000 by the Lega Serie A after coaching staff used walkie-talkies on the touchline.

In it’s official judgement, the League notes that staff on the bench “repeatedly made use of a transmitter-receiver device” during the game against Milan, for which the club received the €10,000 fine.

On the playing side, Niklas Moisander has been given a one-game ban after being sent off in the dying stages of Sampdoria’s defeat to Juventus.

Mancini: 'Inter dominated'

Roberto Mancini blamed the referee for Sassuolo’s victory and insists Inter “were dominating.”

Domenico Berardi converted a last-gasp penalty at San Siro for the 1-0 result, but some thought he purposefully lashed out an arm at Danilo D’Ambrosio in the first half.

“Unfortunately we created many chances and the opposition goalkeeper was excellent. It went like this. I would’ve preferred to win 1-0 while suffering!” Mancini told Mediaset Premium.

Domenico Berardi admits Sassuolo “can think about Europe” after stunning leaders Inter at San Siro.

The forward converted a last-gasp penalty for the 1-0 victory.

"We wanted to do well in this game, because we knew Inter were a great side. We played with determination and got three important points for our path,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

"I scored this important goal, I dedicate it to all the Neroverdi fans, my girlfriend and my friends.
