Report: Eriksen's agent in Milan

Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen could be closing in on a move to Inter and his agent will reportedly arrive in Milan today.

Calciomercato.com reports that the Tottenham player is listening to what Inter could offer and writes that his agent is on his way to the Italian fashion capital.

The Danish playmaker’s contract expires this summer and could come to San Siro for free in only six months, but Spurs might want to anticipate the transfer to receive a symbolic fee for their star player.

Report: Spurs medical for Piatek

English reports claim Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a €28m plus bonuses deal with Milan, booking Krzysztof Piatek’s medical within 48 hours.

According to The Sun newspaper, a transfer fee has been worked out quickly, with an initial fee of £23.8m (€28m) plus another £4.2m (€4.7m) in bonuses.

This is just below the €35m asking price, which is what the Rossoneri paid Genoa in January 2019.

It’s claimed a medical has been arranged for within the next 48 hours.

Tottenham wanted Piatek swap

Tottenham Hotspur wanted Milan to take Juan Foyth or Victor Wanyama as part of the Krzysztof Piatek deal, claim Sky Sport Italia.

According to Sky pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs did make an approach for the Poland international to replace Harry Kane, who will be out of action until at least mid-April.

However, the deal has not gone through for two main reasons.

The first is that Tottenham originally asked to take Piatek on loan and that was refused outright, as his price-tag is €35m.

Erikson bid to include Vecino

Christian Eriksen’s agent will be in Italy tomorrow for Inter talks, claim Sky Sport Italia, as Matias Vecino could go to Tottenham in part-exchange.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Dane’s representative is due to fly out to Milan for face-to-face negotiations.

Like Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud, Eriksen is entering the final six months of his contract and can therefore leave as a free agent in June, but Inter want an earlier transfer.

A Danish with espresso in Milan

Football Italia Chief Correspondent Richard Hall looks at the potential impact Christian Eriksen could make if the Tottenham star joins Inter.

Andrea Pirlo referred to Antonio Conte as “The beast with two wives” – his actual wife and Football. The former regista also commented before the ‘mister’ came to Inter, that he could give the Nerazzurri even more then they had seen with Jose Mourinho, he thinks him the better coach, in fact, the best Pirlo has ever played with.

If Christian Eriksen has researched his potential new surroundings at all, then the words of such a magnificent midfielder will assure him that, at Inter, he could be the catalyst of something magnificent.

Danish report: Inter agree Eriksen fee

Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet report that Inter are very close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham for midfielder Christian Eriksen worth €20-23m.

They insist that despite earlier reports of Inter being priced out of an early move for Eriksen, the asking price is not €30m.

It seems the €20-23m proposal has swayed Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to let the player leave this month, as he will be a free agent from June.
