Nicolò Zaniolo shrugged off transfer speculation and said he’ll try to “achieve the things we were unable to this season” at Roma.

The teenager took to Instagram to thank the Lega Serie A after he won the Young Player of the Year Award.

“I would like to thank the Lega Serie A for naming me best young player of the year. I know that I still have a lot of hard work to do and that is what I plan on doing every day with the sole objective of achieving the things we were unable to this season.

“Forza Roma!”

Allegri to Spurs or Bayern?

Max Allegri is being linked with the Tottenham Hotspur bench – in an exchange with Mauricio Pochettino to Juventus – and Bayern Munich job.

It was announced on Friday that the tactician would not be seeing out the final season of his contract in Turin, as Juve decided to go in a different direction.

There are now mixed reports on his next destination, but despite interest from Roma, it seems unlikely he’d remain in Serie A after five consecutive Scudetto trophies.
