Did Spurs lower Dybala bid?

According to Tuttosport, Juventus pulled the plug on Paulo Dybala’s move because Tottenham lowered their offer to €62m.

The transfer had been in full swing down to deadline day, but fell apart in the final hours.

It had been suggested Dybala’s wage demands were behind the sudden collapse of talks, or the issue of his image rights.

Now Tuttosport claim it was Spurs who lowered the initial €70m proposal to €62m, considered too low for Juve to accept.

Juve still want to sell Dybala

Despite the failure of transfers to Manchester United and Tottenham, it’s reported Juventus still want to sell Paulo Dybala, with PSG, Bayern Munich and Inter likely options.

The Bianconeri had agreed a fee with both clubs only for La Joya to scupper the deals with his salary and commission demands.

Now the Premier League transfer window has shut, but according to multiple Italian sources, this has not changed the fact Juventus want him out of the squad.

Tottenham drop Dybala bid

Tottenham Hotspur have practically abandoned attempts to sign Paulo Dybala after securing a €60m deal for Giovani Lo Celso.

They had made a bid worth €70m, accepted by Juventus, but personal terms were proving a massive problem, just as they had been with Manchester United.

With the Premier League transfer deadline under 24 hours away, there isn’t enough time to work through the many complicated details.

Tottenham in Dybala race against time

Paulo Dybala is open to joining Tottenham Hotspur, claim Italian sources, but it’s unlikely Spurs and Juventus will sort out the details in time.

According to Sportitalia, Il Messaggero and more, Dybala turned down Manchester United, but would be ready to sign for last season’s Champions League Finalists for €70m.

The main problem remains his wage demands, the €15m commission for his agent and above all the issue of image rights.

Tottenham unlikely to sign Dybala

Paulo Dybala is very unlikely to join Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester United, claim Sky Sport Italia, so if he does leave Juventus, it’ll be for PSG.

Juve have been trying to push La Joya out of the squad this summer, but he is steadfastly refusing to let go of his spot in Turin.

Today Sky Sport Italia reported that Tottenham Hotspur had made a €70m proposal for Dybala, which the Bianconeri accepted.

Llorente for Man Utd, Lukaku to Inter?

Manchester United are suddenly leading the race for free agent Fernando Llorente, which could let Inter capture Romelu Lukaku.

According to Sky Sport Italia, former Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur striker Llorente is close to agreeing personal terms with Manchester United.

He has also been linked with Fiorentina, Inter, Roma and Napoli.

If the Spaniard does go to Old Trafford, it’d give Manchester United more leeway to sell Lukaku, as they’d have a replacement in-house.
