Andriy Shevchenko credits Carlo Ancelotti for inspiring him and others at Milan to become coaches and reveals ‘I learned many things from Jose Mourinho’.

While Shevchenko is currently Ukraine CT, Gennaro Gattuso recently won the Coppa Italia with Napoli, Cristian Brocchi has taken Monza into Serie B and Filippo Inzaghi will return Benevento to the top flight.

Ancelotti: 'Napoli fought racism'

Carlo Ancelotti has explained how Napoli fought to ensure Kalidou Koulibaly was not racially abused again. “If you challenge people, things can change.”

The world of football is taking a stand against racism, with players in the Premier League taking a knee before games and wearing ‘Black Lives Matter’ on the back of their shirts.

“Football has an important role to play in educating people,” Ancelotti told The Guardian. “Millions follow footballers, watch what they do, hear what they say.”

Coppa Final vindication for Gattuso's Napoli

Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli revival continued by pushing past Inter to reach their first Coppa Italia Final since 2014, writes Kaus Pandey.

When Rino Gattuso replaced Carlo Ancelotti in December, things looked pretty bleak for Napoli, but he has turned their season around and could win silverware by taking them to their first Coppa Italia Final since 2014. Under Don Carlo, the dressing room was fractured and the players were openly rebelling against the club.

On the pitch, they hadn’t won a game in nine outings and were dropping away from European qualification. The defensive midfield issue was exposing the team’s backline on a weekly basis, as they leaked goals.
