Allan will reportedly leave Napoli after the current campaign and has been linked with a move to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.

Il Mattino claims the former Partenopei coach, who left the San Paolo in December, is prepared to launch an offer this summer and bring Allan to the Premier League.

But the report points out that Everton will be met by a stubborn Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is not willing to let the Brazilian leave on a discounted price.

Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that England is ‘more enjoyable’ and has ‘less pressure’ than Italy and that leaving Milan for Chelsea ‘was not difficult’.

Ancelotti ended almost a decade away from the Premier League in December 2019 when he was named Everton’s coach, a month after his messy divorce from Napoli.

“It is more enjoyable [managing in the Premier League], definitely,” he told Sky Sports.

“There is less pressure here from the supporters and the atmosphere is better in England.

Ancelotti: 'Zidane changed me'

Carlo Ancelotti says he learned how ‘the club has to work for the manager’ at Juventus and that Zinedine Zidane ‘changed my idea about football’.

Ancelotti managed Juve between 1999 and 2001 with little success, but his tenure was notable as he had Zidane at his disposal and it acted as a springboard to two Champions Leagues with Milan.

The Frenchman would later assist his mentor at Real Madrid, before eventually replacing him as their coach.

Gremio President Romildo Bolzan Jr insists they ‘have not received any formal offer’ for winger Everton, despite reports of a €25m Napoli bid.

The Partenopei are not the only side interested in signing Everton Sousa Soares, as he is also a target for Carlo Ancelotti’s Premier League side Everton.

The 24-year-old has a €60m release clause in his contract, but could be allowed to leave for far less over the summer.

Report: Rabiot wants Everton

L’Equipe claims Juventus are determined to shift Adrien Rabiot, but the midfielder’s reported desire to join Everton is proving a problem.

According to the newspaper, Juve have wanted to sell Rabiot since his ‘poor performance’ during the 1-0 defeat to Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League on February 26.

The 25-year-old returned to base later than his teammates barring Gonzalo Higuain, who was looking after his sick mother, but this is not considered a punishable offence.

Ancelotti: 'Milan's best was 2005'

Carlo Ancelotti claims the Milan team who lost the Champions League to Liverpool in 2005 were better than his winners of 2003 and 2007.

Today marks 13 years since Milan beat Manchester United 3-0 to reach the 2006-07 Champions League Final, and Ancelotti looked back on their ‘perfect’ performance.

“The goal we conceded in the last minute of the first leg was very important,” he said during an Instagram interview.

“It ended 3-2 and this forced us to play an attacking game, more ruthless than if the first leg had ended 2-2.

At the final whistle, Rai Sport journalist Jacopo Volpi storms the pitch to be in on the jubilant scenes, chasing the players as they were jumping up and down, hugging each other, with Volpi on their tail screaming into the microphone: “They said you were finished!”

He grabs Roberto Donadoni, who can’t hear what he said and makes Volpi repeat himself: “They said you were finished, well past it!”
